I honestly have nothing bad to say about thus place. We first decided to camp in the city, only to found out that this hostel was actually cheaper than camping! Camping is expensive around here. Anyway, we were met with the owner and he was the nicest man I met in Argentina so far. He helped us with the treks, the buses and even let us keep our car in the hostel while camping at Refugio Frey and Refugio Jakob. Great place and we definitely recommend it!

Honestamente nao tenho nada de ruim a dizer sobre esse hostel. O dono, os funcionarios e o hostel em si sao otimos! Super recomendo!! E o hostel fica mais barato que acampar, o que foi um choque para mim! 

Awesome hostel and great owner and staff!

I was in this hostel  for 4 days for Skying.
I rented a room for 4 people with private bathroom for 50 usd/night(July2019).
The hostel is located far away from the Downtown and it is 4 block by foot from the main street Bustillo. The transfer from the airport to the hostel is about ARS 750(july2019). The onwner of the Hostel Javier , willingly booked the transfer for me and it picked me up on time at the airport.
The enviroment of the hostel is cozy, young and informal as in other hostels.
The room (n°7)was good enough ,although the  bathroom is a little bit unconfortable and need to have better heating during  winters.
The room 7 is an independent but conected cabin compared with the other rooms that are in the main building at the ground level.
Room number 7 is the best option there.
Due to the location of the hostel, I strongly recommend to rent a car to move around the City and also go and back to and from the Hostel during nights and rainny days (the acess to the hostel is by dirt streets)
This hostel is located 10km from Cerro Catedral Sky Center making suitable for skiers.

People at the hostel are quite kind and they willingly can help you. 



Right as it was expected

Bit out of the way. Have to take a bus to town.  7.5.  Friendly staff. Scant breakfast. Comfortable rooms and beds. Lots of hot water.  Wifi poor.  Very hard to connect and kicked off. Kitchen available but busy.

Don’t stay here, it’s noisy, hard to access (without car) and quite dirty. The facilities are outdated and the rooms had too much dust. It had cobwebs and mold spots on the walls and ceiling. The staff was not able to find a proper solution.

We stayed at this hostel for two nights. I have not seen filth like this in a long long time. and never in a hostel. The place is staffed by volunteers who see their role as vacationers with privilege. Not as someone who is doing a job in return for accommodation. Breakfast was abysmal. The hostel proudly talks about home made bread but when you see the grime on the table on which the bread is kneaded it is no wonder that I became ill.

While the owner was very nice, sadly it's quite clear he's lost interest in the place as a business.
