My elderly parents stayed at this hotel on a recent trip to QLD for a funeral. Unfortunately my tenderly father became unwell with a migraine and had to stay longer than expected.
Our family were far away and called the hotel to see if they could recommend restaurants that delivered.
We shouldn’t have worried, this hotel ensured my family were checked up on, their room was cleaned by extremely friendly staff who even got my mum flowers for her birthday.
This kind of service goes a long way when traveling and to know staff care is such a bonus.
Cant recommend them highly enough.
The rooms and facilities were ex Elle t according to mum and dad.

Fantastic service and support

We stayed six nights, were nicely surprised by the size of the rooms. They were clean, well appointed, staff were excellent. Convenient to many food outlets, supermarket and short walk around the corner. Highly recommended

Large comfortable rooms, clean and helpful owner and staff

This was the most exceptional stay for a disabled person. The man at the desk was so pleasant and helpful.  The wheelchair ramp is a great benefit for wheelchairs and the beds are at a suitable height for transferring from chair to bed..  There is a sign indicating that there is a space dedicated for disabled parking which doesn't happen at other motels.  The room was very clean and tidy and the beds were very comfortable.  There was plenty of space for reversing out of the undercover parking area.  I had read the negative comments written about this place before I booked and from my observation this motel was 10/10 .  I'm glad I went there and I won't be staying anywhere else when I'm in Gympie.

Great for disabled people

We stayed here for four nights  and were totally happy.  We received a warm welcome.  The room was spacious and met all of our expectations.  In spite of being next to the Bruce Highway, we did not hear the traffic.  The establishment is adjacent to several fast food outlets and within walking distance of the town centre.

I often stay here when passing through. its just a good old fashioned motor inn. its clean, comfortable and quiet. its also well located and i can always get a room.
the rooms are well appointed and have all the mod cons needed.
parking is great also.

Only stayed for one night while passing through but would definitely stay again.  The owners were very friendly and the room was clean and larger than expected. Undercover parking was also a plus - would definitely recommend

Very happy

We arrived a little early, but we were able to get into our room immediately,  always a plus. The room was large, clean and quiet despite the proximity to the highway. It had all the amenities we needed for an overnight stay and is within easy walking distance of historic Mary Street. Some of the usual fast food outlets almost next door. We found the tariff reasonable and would be more than happy to stay here again.

A quiet, comfortable motel conveniently located in Gympie

Big room, quite spacious, however fairly run down,  saggy bed, and dripping shower taps, otherwise good location on the main road and close to domino's pizza, red rooster and a Chinese restaurant,  undercover parking available .

Room was dated but clean.  Noisy from main road and upstairs rooms.  They don't offer breakfast at the moment.  If i had realised this we would have booked elsewhere.  Beds were ok but pillows were all flat.

No breakfast

My adult daughter and I have just checked in at the Gympie Mister Inn. I had booked at standard room with 1 queen and 1 single bed  for 2 nights. Room description on  the booking confirmation says "queen and a single bed, table and chairs, desk and lamp, split system air conditioning" and under bedding configuration it says "1 double, 2 singles"

I booked directly with the property. I then rang the property and requested a ground floor room and later confirmed this again a week before arrival. When I gave my name at check in and said I had a booking for 2 nights, I was greeted with (without any prompting I might add) .... you want 2 beds, this room only has one bed. If you wanted 2 beds you should have told me (Silly me I actually thought the 2 beds option would have been obvious because I could have booked a deluxe room with a queen bed, but instead I booked the standard room with a double and 2 singles... so clearly  not obvious). I was then lectured about not telling them I wanted 2 beds. and I had only booked a room with a double bed.  Give them their due, they did offer a 2 bed room tonight and a 1 bed room tomorrow with one not on the ground floor but I said that I didn't want to change rooms  and it had to be ground floor and that the one double bed would be OK. I went to the room and it s very adequate and nicely set out. I looked up the confirmation I have received at time of booking and noted that the room description and the bedding configuration on the clearly indicated that there would be at least 2 beds. 

I took the confirmation back to reception and an older man took over, insisted I had been given the room I had booked - definitely not true.

I do not appreciate being lectured to. It was very clear that they were aware of their mistake because the first words of the woman at reception desk were to state that I wanted 2 beds. 

The experience has left a pretty nasty taste at the end of what has been a very pleasant holiday in QLD
