We stayed for just one night, the room was very comfortable, very clean, friendly host. The room was very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended!
We stayed in Avoca on our way to Castlemaine. 
Go see the silo in the daylight and then again after dark, it is amazing.

Avoca by night

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights for a little getaway. Our room was lovely. It was very clean, smelt fresh, had everything you could possibly need. Our room was quite large. It had a double & a single along with 2 bedside tables, a 2 seater couch, 2 chairs, a coffee table big enough to play games on, tv, microwave, jug, toaster, you name it! Normally breakfast is on offer with your stay but covid has stopped them from being allowed to provide this as it’s a continental breakfast hence my selection of not sure to those questions. The owners were so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this place to anyone and look forward to another stay in this wonderful motel in what we discovered was a very friendly little town.

Extremely comfortable & in a great location.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed a lovely weekend in Avoca, staying in this wonderful little Motel. Lovely big rooms, granted they are a little dated, but everything was exceptionally clean and customer service was very accommodating. The beds very comfortable and shower was lovely and hot. What more does one need? 
And if your coming to Avoca, it’s not to be eating and sitting in a motel room. We were in very close walking distance to two pubs and several cafes and a supermarket. We did two day trips out to Castlemaine and Maldon, exploring and eating our way through several quaint country towns. Will definitely be back as we want to explore the south and west of Avoca, and we don’t even drink wine. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely little town and Motel.

My son and I stayed in a twin room for one night. The room was comfortable and clean and was the furthest from the road. The grounds feature shady trees and are well looked after. The manager was very helpful and friendly. I hope to stay there again.

Garden setting and a quiet location

My wife and I had gone to Melbourne for Hindusthani Classical Music Festival and having few days to spare decided to go wine tasting in the Pyrennes. On the way over from Melbourne we stopped at  Lamplough Estate winery and tasted their wines which we liked. We then decided decided to stay in Avoca Motel rest and tackle 3-4 wineries the next day.  We found the motel excellent the room clean and spacious. We found the manager Candice a very helpful person. She guided us well about where to go for a meal in Avoca and what to do there.  We thoroughly recommend visitors to the Pyrenees to stay at Avoca Motel. From there Moonambel  is not far. The wineries of the region are excellent.

Fantastic hosts who were prepared to go the extra mile made this a great stay. Room is everything you need - clean, fresh, spacious and with all necessary inclusions. A wonderful place to stay if you are in the region

Winery Weekend

The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable and the owners could not do enough to make my time there enjoyable. The Wreck shed is set up for a free continental breakfast with everything you can think of, and more. I will be back and would recommend the Avoca Motel to anyone!

Awsome!

We stayed here overnight, the room and beds where comfortable, the area was quiet at night. As it was raining we where allowed to park our motor bikes under cover in front of other unoccupied rooms. We stayed here on a Monday night and both pubs in town did not open until Thursday.

Nice to arrive somewhere & be greeted in a friendly way!

The room was very clean with toiletries supplied. Had plenty of towels & pillows which some other places overlook.

Even though I brought my own water, they have fresh rainwater for guests.

Despite trucks passing, I slept extremely well as you are set back a little from the road.

Shame about the breakfast not being available thanks to Avoca Council being difficult. It was one of the reasons I booked, but such is life.

Clean with friendly service

A great little motel in the middle of town. Staying just after COVID restrictions were lifted in regional Victoria, we were not quite sure what to expect but were willing to be flexible and accommodating of any changes. Our room was exceptionally clean and welcoming, offering a good use of space with a small sofa, good storage, a large comfy bed, lovely spa bath and warm and cosy with the heating on. Candice was really friendly and helpful and although we brought our own breakfast provisions due to COVID restrictions, she kindly provided us with some small jams, butter fruit and crockery. We would definitely stop here again and Avoca is a great little place to stay in order to explore the surrounding area.
