Was only expecting a plain hotel stay. However the owners of Ballina Manor have established an outstanding property. 

Refurbished beautifully - rooms are large and exceptionally presented. 

Breakfast was awesome - cheese, ham, selection of fruits - just nice. Coffee was good too. 

Friendly staff with attention to detail. 

Overall very good hotel.

Outstanding experience ! We were upgraded without request which was a great start ! Beautifully presented, clean and all the little things that make a difference !! Nothing was too much too ask ! Rooms were spacious with every mod con needed !

Just do it !

We’ve been to Ballina twice recently, but it’s the first time we’ve stayed at Ballina Manor. And we are just so glad we did. From the very start of the visit, we could tell this place is pure class. The code to access the Manor and the room works so well. The doors have amazing closers on them that it is impossible for the doors to slam. A real plus for us. We stayed in room 12, at the top of the stairs. The room was very big and spotlessly clean. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and TV actually worked without instructions (!) which for us is another plus. We met Gersch when we were leaving, and he took the time to talk about the history of the place and future plans. We could not fault this establishment. Well done Hannah and Gersch.

Sheer Perfection

Just enjoyed a lovely weekend away with school mums. The manor is gorgeous and perfect for groups. We had a private dinner onsite which was exceptional. The whole weekend was marvellous. We will be back 

Best weekend at the Manor

Fantastic place to stay. Unfortunately we only had one night but the hosts were super friendly, the beds very comfortable and the surrounds were the best. High ceilings, antique furniture, lovely verandah to sit on outside our bedroom door.   The showers were very good, with good water flow and heat, the towels lovely and fluffy.  A very peaceful place to stay. Just wish we had more time. Beautiful dark timber staircase and off street parking. 

Excellent accommodation in Ballina, NSW

It is difficult to refrain from using superlatives when discussing Ballina Manor Boutique Hotel.  This stylish historical boutique hotel is outstanding – genuinely a 5 star luxury experience!  Our first night here was on our way to Brisbane and we enjoyed our stay so much adjusted our return travel date just to be able to get accommodation there on our way back to Sydney!  The owners, Hannah and Gersch’s attention to detail is totally focused on the comfort of their guests. Modern stylish décor, luxurious bed linen, quality toiletries and furnishings compliment the historical features and ensure guests feel at home. From the fruit bowl in the entrance, quality breakfast cereals, variety of teas, and being able to brew your own coffee in the morning reflects the attention to detail the owners have considered to ensure their guests have a wonderfully comfortable experience that goes above and beyond expectations - exceptional.

Simply Sensational

Efficient and friendly booking process over the phone - the rooms so generous in size!

Bed linen and drapery was superb and the king bed was like a cloud.   This was so welcome after a day of driving - very tasteful decor and we would most definitely return.

The breakfast and coffee items provided in room were most appreciated.

Slept like a log and you will too!

EXCEPTIONAL

Beautiful, spacious room, air-conditioned (optional) with huge windows.  A gorgeous bathroom with a huge bath, immaculately clean, lovely fluffy towels, such comfy beds, very quiet.  The staff were so welcoming and hospitable, and thoughtful touches like leaving milk, a coffee machine,  and muesli and yoghurt, were greatly appreciated, they even helped us with our bags.  Our room had access to the big, airy, balcony out the front where we sat and had wine and pizza.  Just a short walk to the town centre, close to cafes, and the walking beach/bay.  We'll stay there again for sure.  The manor has been beautifully renovated and it was a delight to stay there.  Thank you, for a lovely stay.

Fabulous.and flawless

Living in the Brisbane area and with all the Covid stuff going on we booked at short notice for a 3 night getaway.  We were looking for somewhere as a comfy base to explore the surrounding area,  Byron down to Yamba and inland, Ballina  fitted the bill and then fortunately we spotted the Ballina Manor Boutique Hotel, so glad we did.

Super easy booking direct through the Hotels online site, we immediately liked the look of the place, the reviews were positive and it offered great value for money .... especially compared to the prices  in the very popular Byron area.

We chose Room 12, which was top floor with stairs to climb and we expected that and it was worth it.  The room was comfy and well appointed relaxing and quiet heaps of space for the two of us and a  super comfy bed.   Best nights sleep I have had in a long time. A little totally private balcony was an ace spot to relax with a drink or enjoy a tasty breakfast.

The building has some great history as a former girls boarding school and it stands rightfully proud just a few minutes drive to the restaurants of Ballina.  Byron is a 40 min drive north along the coastal road with plenty of beautiful spots to drop in on the way.

All in all a splendid relaxing getaway, so glad we found the Ballina Manor Hotel and would definitely recommend  to family and friends  looking for peace and quiet, quality accommodation and service in a lovely building and spot.

Tremendous 3 nights away

Absolutely loved this place!

The staff were extremely attentive in every way. We stayed two nights, could not have been happier.

We stayed in room 11 up in the attic. This grand old house comes filled with history and charm. 

This time of year meant that the restaurant was shut for dinner, but they served a lovely breakfast.

The room was perfectly appointed. The bed very comfortable and the bathroom with double shower and bath was perfect.

Highly recommended if you want that something special!
