Terrific location right on the lake shore, beautiful scenery, clear clean water plus wildlife.  Our villa was very clean and comfortable with all the amenities needed for a great stay, sure wi fi and tv were limited but who goes to a place like this to watch tv?Staff (reception, cafe and housekeeping) very friendly and accomodating -hi Leanne!
Make sure you you go down to Mungo Brush and Dee's Corner via the car ferry, 4WD access to the beach down there. All this for $169 in a 5 bed villa!

Great location in a beautiful natonal park.

We stay here about 2-3 months a year on different occasions.
We all love this place, and our grandkids love it too.
It is our home away from home.
We have been coming here over 20 years now, our daughter met her husband there.  
We have a great site, which holds our caravan, boat and cars.

Best holiday Park to stay at.

Very clean and tidy villa, and lots of peace, quiet, and relaxation in a beautiful setting.  Grounds and facilities were well maintained.  Staff were friendly and helpful.  Cafe overlooking the lake with great food was an added bonus. (And the perfect place to catch up on any wifi requirements)

Daily visitors to the unit included ducks, magpies, and kangaroos - it is so lovely to just sit and relax, only meters from the lake.  Then as the sun goes down - so nice to have a warm and luxurious place to retreat to for the night.

Some villas are currently not in use due to the 2021 floods but this apparently is soon to be addressed.  The units that are still in use are of excellent quality, luxurious, and well maintained.

Luxury and tranquility - in a perfect setting.

We just enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Myall Shores with a group of families, what a beautiful spot so close to Newcastle and Sydney. 
The park is very clean and tidy, lots of grass, good sized caravan and tent sites, most of which are on the water or have water views.  
Ammenities are plentiful, good water pressure and are cleaned regularly and always had soap and toilet paper.
We enjoyed dinner and a couple of drinks at Legges bar and cafe, which was fantastic - the pizzas are excellent! 
Staff were all super friendly and super helpful, always with a smile or wave around the park.
Lastly the location, stunning views (check out the view from our site!), beautiful water to swim in, boating, canoe, SUP and sail on.  
Being surrounded by National Park wildlife abounds, we saw kangaroos, goannas, possums, ducks and lots of other bird life.
Highly recommend booking a weekend getaway or go for a day trip and enjoy lunch at Legges Cafe, you can get to Myall Shores from historic Buladelah or via Hawkes Nest then over the punt ($6 cash).

Fantastic location, fabulous amenities and awesome staff

A hidden gem, surrounded by lake front on all sides. Hosts were amazingly friendly, nothing was too much trouble. On-site cafe for dinner was restaurant quality. We stayed in a very clean lake front safari tent. The wildlife was also pretty special, the kids enjoying visits from the kangaroos, a lace monitor, some ducks and some cheeky possums too! We’ll definitely be back!

What a top spot!

The lady at check in was so friendly and accommodating to our needs and made us feel very welcome.  Accommodation was clean but a bit dated and could do with a bit of a spruce up. The location was absolutely beautiful. Not a lot of food options there, I saw there was a restaurant though it wasn't open during our stay on a Friday night so perhaps it had shut down. Cafe had very limited menu but got us by for the one night. Best to come prepared with food.

Gorgeous location and great staff

Awesome stay over Christmas and New Years with friends and family. Park is amazing, brand-new amenities, Pizza and burgers delicious at the cafe, staff friendly and accommodating, cafe licensed with pool table and kids corner. Bring your toys, 
We fished, swam, skied, paddle boarded, kayak relaxed and chilled in nature.  Definitely a Hidden Gem and worth a stay. We will return again and again

Myall shores 10 days in nature

We stayed in a lakeside cabin and it was lovely. It was quiet, on the water and well thought of. The cabin was clean, the kitchen had everything one needed. Reception was friendly, the kangaroos were a great surprise. We will be back

Excellent

We had the best stay. The hosts are delightful. Nothing was too much trouble. It was so nice to be able to wander up and get a great coffee and yummy breakfast in the morning. 
The lake is stunning and so much to do in the surrounding areas. So close to the most beautiful beaches and lakes. We will be back soon. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Beautiful Camping Spot

We took our camper trailer there and stayed for a week. It is a very pretty park with heaps of wildlife, right on the lake.

ON the right day the swimming beach is a really lovely and chilled out spot.

The management of the park is excellent. The staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I also like the fact that there is zero tolerance to anti-social behaviour. Not that there was any when we were there.

We quickly made friends and unlike some other places we have camped, the nature of the other campers was really nice and everyone we met was friendly.

Evenings in the camp kitchen was convivial, and add to that the wallabies and kangaroos that hang around made those evenings special.

The amenities are kept clean and well maintained. There is also a cafe there that makes awesome pizzas. A couple of evenings we also ate there, there is a schnitzel night, and a taco night - you need to book a table for these. The cafe is also licensed.

The location is right in the middle of Myall Lakes National Park so there is heaps of exploring to do but at the same time the closest towns (villages) are 20 kms in either direction - you would be well advised to plan your stay with shopping and supplies. Some basics can be bought at the cafe.

It would be hard to fault this place and myself and my kids would be keen to return. Next time I think I would like to rent a cabin (which are right on the beach).  

There is a large pool area which has plenty of seating, but a think there could be room for some more sun loungers.

I am a single dad and I took my two kids (12/9). We all had a great time. It was the most chilled out I have felt in over a year!
