Our new favourite holiday park! Thank you so much to Kathryn and the team. You went out of your way to help us, first with changing our booking date at the last minute and then being so wonderful and helpful when I had stuffed up our booking details. On top of that, the cabin was stunning and absolutely gorgeous, the the best we have stayed in. The view was breathtaking. What a very special place and wonderful team. Thank you so much!

Amazing place, beautiful staff!

The staff are super friendly and the park and amenities are spotless. Our motorhome backs on to the river so it’s just a few steps to throw in a line - we even caught a fish within half an hour of arrival. Sitting under our awning and looking at the river while being visited by the local ducks is so peaceful. They have a few supplies available in the kiosk such as frozen bread,muffins,crumpets,pies, butter and milk plus biscuits etc. We will certainly be returning.

Peaceful restful love it

Bellinger River Caravan Park, set on the river bank, is heaven for fishermen, kayakers, paddle-boarders and travellers who enjoy a peaceful water view.  There's a mix of large slab and grass sites, and the most popular sites are right on the water's edge. There's fire pits for hire and wood for sale, which make for a cosy evening of relaxation. The bathroom and laundry facilities, camp kitchen are clean and in excellent condition. There's a herb/vege garden for travellers' use. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and will be back in the future.

Peaceful and quiet

Absolute waterfront spots for caravans and campers.  Ensuite style amenities which are spotlessly clean and they include hairdryers.  Camp kitchen is well appointed with lots of seating. Lawns are well kept.  Lovely walking the river especially for the sunrise and sunset colours.

Perfect waterfront relaxation 

We were greeted by the friendly and helpful owner and check in was easy. The park is well kept with a good swimming pool, camp kitchen and amenities. I do not agree with a previous post that the park is noisy. Yes, you can hear a train in the distance a couple of times  but it does not disturb your stay at all.  The permanent tenants are not a problem either. We had a very relaxed stay but unfortunately was cut short by the flooding that is occurring on the east coast at the moment.  I would recommend this caravan park to anyone looking for a relaxed holiday central to Bellingen and the coast.

Lovely relaxing park on the river

We arrived here yesterday afternoon, joining my Dad and his partner for a fortnight’s’ holiday. They have been here many times but this is our first visit. 

It is beautiful. We have a riverfront site. The campsites are very generously sized, surrounded by manicured lawns and shaded by tall trees. 

The bird life is plentiful. As I write this, I can hear many different bird calls amongst the trees and from across the river. 

I threw a line in this morning and caught a bream after only a few seconds, but have only got undersized ones since then. Will have another go shortly. Other guests are catching them too. 

There is a large, well-equiped camp kitchen, with plenty of tables. The amenities block is very clean, with good quality equipment in the laundry. $5 per load for washer or dryer (takes both $1 and $2 coins) The bathrooms are individual ensuite-style with key access. The key (provided at check-in) will open all bathrooms, so don’t leave your toiletries behind when you have finished in there. 

The park is around 25 minutes south of Coffs Harbour where you will find all major shopping requirements. 

Spectacular!!

Every two years my in laws get together there is 33 of us. Ranging in age from 1 - 75yrs with a mixture of tents, camper trailers and caravans. We have been doing this for over 20 years. A sibling picks a different place. 

This year we landed at the best spot I have stayed at for this camping trips. 

We had a waterfront site. It was amazing. I have never fished and by the end I was a “pro”. We tied three inflatable river rings to a long rope, had the SUP and 2 kayaks and the kids spent the days swimming, floating, fishing. We went to the beach, we swam in the tidal pool. We drove 15mins to explore Sawtell and Coffs. 

I finished a book and watched amazing sunsets most evenings. 

The amenities are again first class with the new style toilet, shower, sink (like an ensuite).

It is definitely worth a visit. 

Relax and enjoy 

What a wonderful time we have had here. At check in the lady was so welcoming and friendly pointing out what the local area has and where to go for supplies etc. the site we had was a double slab site that was on the riverfront. Easy to get into the site and then just sit back and relax. The park is pet friendly and has a very good kids play area right next to the camp kitchen and the pool looks very inviting. I would recommend stopping here for sure.

A quiet, beautiful little park right on the river. Pet friendly. The management were just wonderful. Really great amenities block, like a motel bathroom. Excellent camp kitchen. Fishing right out the front of our site. Caught lots of little Brim. Must be bigger ones too. Great area to explore. Winery just down the road. Surf beach not too far away. Not far to Uranga for a meal out and must do the boardwalk. Or go inland to the Waterfall Way.

Just beautiful.

What a fantastic park this is. Great views, friendly staff and the best amenities block with individual en-suites. We stayed for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It was so peaceful siting by the riverbank fishing and watching the local wildlife. Would highly recommend this park and we look forward to returning there.
