We had travelled a long distance that day, and to receive such a pleasant welcome that evening assured us of a pleasant stay.  The facilities were all that we expected - clean and handy to our site.  And despite being at the junction of the Carnavon/N.W highway, there was absolutely no awareness of road train engine breaking or acceleration. Just the chirpiness of a few golahs

A tidy little oasis

Only stayed one night but it was really lovely. The pool is gorgeous, staff incredibly friendly, amenities all orderly and tidy. We will absolutely be back, ended up a bit sad we were only passing through! A very lovely, green caravan park with really nice locals. Thank you!

Came to Carnarvon to find the sun
Stayed at Capricorn had lots of fun
Dereck and Caroline are amiable hosts
With Claudia and Andrew
Along with the rest of the crew
Lit up the fire and oven just right
Cooked our pizza on Friday night 
Christmas in July in the shed
Music gallons sausage and veg
Lawn bowls table tennis dancing and games 
Saw us all full of joy and laughter
If that doesn't suit I don't now what your after
This place is suiting us just fine
So travelled go and leave with good cheer
For we have booked again for next year ..

Great park . Excellent managers hope to see them next year

Great park, we’ve been coming for 7yrs and plan to come next year. Great fun when the grey nomads arrive for there winter get away. Terrific entertainment from traveling musicians. Fund raiser sausage sizzles and pizza night’s. YvonneButton

Fun park.

We've been coming here for some years now, and it never disappointing!
A very friendly and inclusive group of campers. There is plenty to do, it's hard to sit back and relax?
When the band Midway is in residence, the place rocks.
Give it a try, you will be back.

Surprisingly Good.

New management doing a great job. Lots of fun activities up in the Outback Shed like craft , bingo, table tennis, pool and lawn bowls with sausage sizzles and live music nights. Pizza nights around the fire pit. Clean ablutions blocks and laundry’s.

Great park

Capricorn holiday park staff very welcoming and helpful. We arrived around 4 pm during the start of a rain bomb. It was absolutely torrential rain and most of the park flooded. Nothing too serious but very unpleasant. The staff were most helpful and took it in their stride. Luckily the rain eased off considerably as we parked the van. Unhitched and quickly settled in to a very wet but otherwise peaceful night. Still raining the next morning as we set off but pleased to have been where we were under the circumstances.

Capricorn holiday park. Worth staying here.

We have not stayed here for a couple of years and in my last post I wasn't happy, but we decided to try again that was for two reasons, price fantastic compared to other parks the second was position, perfect if heading up north, we stayed 2 nights with absolutely nothing to complain about, Capricorn is very clean,quiet and safe I have no hesitation in recommending this caravan park and will return again.

Really surprised

The Capricorn holiday park was a great stay. We stayed in a powered site overnight and overall there wasn't much to fault. A great location, great facilities and abolutions. It was also a super easy and quick check in, would stay again!

a great stay

Good park about 5km from centre of Carnarvon and on main road. The sites were shady and amenities were old but clean and plenty of hot water. Was a bit noisy at night with cars coming and going. Staff were friendly and helpful and position is good for exploring the area.
