This was the second time that I have stayed at the Riverview Motel. Both times I only stayed for 1 night as I was passing through on my way south.

However, I have had two really restful night's sleep at the Riverview.

For a budget priced motel this one ticks most of the boxes.

My room had a large modern bathroom, air conditioning, free wifi and a comfortable bed.

Also had a sliding door at the back of the unit that opened onto a balcony overlooking the river.

Comfortable Stay

I stayed here recently while on a business trip to Deniliquin. Check in was quick, and it was lovely to arrive late afternoon to find that the heater in the room had been put on for me. 

The motel is extremely dated, but clean and tidy. The furniture is pretty basic, although the bed was comfortable. Sheets and towels were clean but very thin and threadbare. 

Room is equipped with toaster, kettle, TV, electric blankets, iron etc. The view of the Edward river was lovely and serene. 

I found the room, which is brick in and out and poorly insulated to be cold, despite the heater and electric blanket. The bathroom which has recently been refurbished and was quite clean, was FREEZING! 

I am sure when it is not the middle of winter it would be more pleasant. 

It was an OK stay but next time I am in Deni I might try somewhere different. 

Cheap, Cheerful....... and Chilly! 

My rating is probably a bit generous!Got here after a very long day driving from Adelaide in 39+ temps,only to b told there was no booking in our name even though we booked via email with Di. So therefore no nice air conditioned room to check into! 
We were told to turn the air con on and wait. Restaurant closed Monday’s there’s a pub 3 blocks down the road, to far to walk in this heat! We opted for the air conditioned RSL club. 
The room was average, carpet on floor filthy dirty and stained! 
Queen bed was comfortable with clean sheets. Bathroom ok, small towels and hot water took ages to arrive and wasn’t that hot! 
Fridge was ok sized and had a full width freezer which is always handy. 

Overall not a good finish to a great trip! 


Stayed one night

Booked on the fly and should have checked here first. Lovely river view but thats it..no restauraunt despite all advertising which is still in the compendium  and online and air con not working in freezing temps..thank goodness for electric blankets and a pub 500m away .I was told by staff its closing and given the impression owners dont care ..townhouses make way ..shame really its sort of cute

Cheap and no restauraunt but nice view

Booked into this motel as it advertises a restaurant, l was informed on check in that it has closed permanently. Very dissapointing after a busy work day, where room service would be appreciated. 
Room was old and smelly. Airconditioner was quiet but it sends a vibration through the room that is not unlike a truck engine.
More like a $90 a night motel.
The view over the river is lovely, a nice place to sit and unwind
