First time we came here was in December 2023 going from Victoria to Western Australia . We found  this ensuite accomodation (lucky strike) 😎
We were only staying for one night but ended  up staying for 5 nights. Had the best time. Got lost on an extensive Dogwalk .. ha ha.🤣and were saved calling Jeanette (the amazing owner) at Kerrie Aura which worked out where we were and went out of her way to pick us up with a smile . What an unusual and outstanding experience the whole stay was 😉 Friendly, warm and divine 🙏Owners that go out of their way to give you the opportunity to  have an experience with something truly special. 
The first  time we stayed here was around Christmas and there were the most wonderful Xmas decorations and lighting to celebrate the occasion like the home away from home. Several weeks later on our trip back  to Victoria we looked forward to come back to Kerrie Aura again …planning for 2 days but I think it will be 5 days again because we have already connected to a couple of groups that want to catch up for a drink or talk and the dogs agree.  All we can hear while we writing this is the happy chatting of people here connecting to each other. Just driving home a bit faster because the rest is just going to be overnight stays .  Even the price is really affordable .. what the ….are you waiting for. ??

Outstanding, amazing , divine

Stayed in a studio apartment. Comfortable, good size with bar fridge, microwave and portable double hot plates. Really well located - about 4 klms to Denmark shops, BWS and takeaways. Most of Denmark’s wineries are located within 10 minutes drive - special mention of Forest Hill & Singlefile. There’s also an excellent restaurant on site, AJAR on Shadforth. Definitely worth experiencing at least one meal. I’d recommend booking a table and it’s BYO wine, beer and pre mixed spirits.

Comfortable and well located

We stayed at Kari Aura over Easter 2022 and omg one word to describe this place , Amazing , parking the van was so easy ( hubby and I didn’t kill each other 😂) , the ensuite bathroom was clean and spacious, and waking up enjoying a coffee with the view was just the best , we normally stay at RAC or Big 4 caravan parks so were a little worried what to expect but we will definitely be back to enjoy Kari Aura again

Caravanning with views

Early November my wife and I had 4 great nights in a Studio Suite at Kari at Karri Aura above Denmark W.A.  I called ahead to make the booking personally and was given clear verbal and later email conformation and directions, and I still got confused by Kari Aura being close to Kari Mia with its own separate entrance with huge signs clearly marked 100 meters away, (darr). The instructions to enter the room were clear and easy to follow on arrival to find a spacious clean room with a very comfortable king bed, with a lounge, dining table & chairs good size bathroom. It was a cool weekend, and we had the place warm in minutes on our return from walks and drives to watch the sunsets from our room or the grounds. It was nice to have a choice of coffees and teas, quality towels & soap.  I can’t comment on the caravan park with authority but they sites looked tidy and clean with en-suites and a great location for family and oldies. The location high on a hill with views in almost every direction was our highlight, Denmark has some great sights from forest to coast Karri Aura dose have an peaceful aura.

It really dose have an Aura

It was a last minute decision to take a family break in January. As a family of 5 there was  nothing available until I stumbled upon Karri Aura. I phoned Finn and she was very accommodating - holding 7 nights in the Family Suite for me until I could confirm with all family members. On arrival we were not disappointed - amazing location and view! While the accommodation is not big, it is clean, had everything we needed and the BBQ on the front verandah was a bonus!  We would love to return one day and would recommend the accommodation to anyone looking to visit Denmark

Family Getaway

What a nice place.  
Small and personal - owners are on site and accessible.

Nice to have own bathroom - sink, shower, toilet - (please provide a mop).  
Camping in bitumen is good and bad - 
It’s a hard surface to peg into, but it’s clean and you don’t constantly have dirty feet.  
Laundry was clean and good. 
Kitchen - pretty good, one large BBQ didn’t work.  Not sure the the BBQ’s here were well maintained, but we certainly used it.  
Outside eating has a killer view, probably needs a little more space when the group size increases.

Peace at last 

We booked over the phone as we were traveling in a motorhome and needed a base for a few days as close to albany and sites around.The price was amazing and we could have a onsuite toilet shower for our motor home.
We arrived to an amazing location in the hills of Denmark..The manager Fin was so friendly and helpful with places to see and where to get what we needed for supplies.
The motor home area suited our needs having the onsuite with a undercover area where we set up out tables and cooking.We had a little grassed area in our bay which was great for our fur child pug.. We were even able to fence off so he didn't wander.... we brought our small fire pit and were able to have our own little camp fires and BBQ..
The great location has beautiful views 360 degrees of the hills and valleys of Denmark . I was able to fly my drones and capture some amazing footage.
I would totally recommend  staying here to anyone needing a safe,clean and affordable location. Karri Aura run by Glyn & Fin is hands down the best place to stay with your family and fur children.....We will be back in summer.

Little Place of Tranquility 

I love coming to Karri Aura, it's my go-to place when wanting to come and walk/climb the many wonderful sites around Denmark.  This time I came for 4 nights and stayed for 9.  Fin and Glyn are wonderful, hospitable people where nothing is too much trouble.  The view from your private patio is breathtaking.  Do yourself a favour and come stay (I promise you'll want to come back)!!!
The sunset views were taken last night whilst sitting on my patio enjoying a glass of wine.  What else can I say!!!

A LITTLE PIECE OF PARADISE!!!

We stumbled upon Karri Aura on our adventure around WA. What a find! 

We were already in Albany, having had a very disappointing hotel stay the night before. We booked online and turned up within an hour.

We were met by Glyn who immediately made us feel at home. We had a studio cabin that was spotlessly clean and spacious, with the most beautiful views from the patio.

We liked it so much, our flying visit turned into a couple of blissful days. Spending time on the patio enjoying the peace, the views and the wildlife. Visiting some of the plentiful local attractions.

Thanks to Glyn and Fin for the fabulous hospitality, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a visit, I just wish we’d had more time to spend there!

A diamond in the hills

Wow Karri Aura is really beautiful! I literally booked this place the day before I drove downsouth. I needed to make a last minute trip and was looking for an affordable place to stay. Karri Aura came high on the list with glowing reviews and I was about to book it on a separate website but wasn't sure about whether or not there's a cooking place. So I decided to make a quick phone call and spoke to the owner who's so friendly and helpful. She suggested that I made the booking directly with her through the phone and because it's the last room, she's happy to give me a special price that matched the website. I was really happy and really appreciated that! I was even happier and more pleasantly surprised when I walked in my room and WOW...it's such a luxury! Beautiful, clean, spacious, comfy, absolutely gorgeous! There's not only a double bed, but also a single bed and a sofa bed. The bathroom was huge and there were even free body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided from the Sandalwood factory. I also got to see the MOST spectacular sunset at this place! I did a timelapse video of it and just wow! The location was hard to beat - far enough from the centre and yet close enough. The surrounding grounds were also very beautiful and well kept.

There were two problems though. First, all suites were located close to one another and even though each suite came with its own back porch and was partitioned, I could clearly hear everything from the guests next door (right and left). Every time the door was opened or slided, when they talked inside and outside, when the baby cried...yep I heard it all! So it's not exactly the right place of a total private or quiet place. Thankfully the other guests were not that loud so it's still bearable and there's a 'quiet' policy after 10PM which all guests respectfully abode. The last problem was exactly what other reviews were saying...the bed was soft and sinking in the middle, making it really bad for the back. My back hurt on the 1st night. For the 2nd night, I improvised a little bit and put some towels on the bed to add some support to my back and I was fine.

So overall, I still loved this Karri Aura and would love to be back again one day.
