This caravan park nestled in a lovely tree shaded large area with water and lovely lake with fish surrounding it . Is perfect and the new toilets camp kitchens laundry . Are kept spotless as  Tyson Julie  and there team keep to this constant daily schedule. Been here 3 weeks it’s so peaceful and Tyson and his partner for there young age , keep an incredible tight ship, with an outstanding kind thoughtful nature , nothing is to much trouble for him, he helps anyone , if they need repairs and he can help , he’s there, his knowledge of just about anything is amazing. 
His employers should be extremely proud of him and his team . I would not hesitate to recommend this park and sad to go . Close to the shops clubs etc 
Sit and watch in peace the birds and wildlife . And the cost is amazingly low and affordable 
Yes you can have fur babies 
If you don’t find this the best cleanest park . With soft well manicured lawns , you must be hard to please

Simply great and peaceful

This is a great park to stay in it is right next to Victoria Lake. The walk around the lake is beautiful, especially at night with the coloured lights. There is a great playground, public swimming pool and skate park for the kid's. Plenty BBQs and picnic tables. You can also do a spot of fishing. It is only a 20 minute walk to main town, where you will find all your favourite shops. There are also lots of bush walks, our favourite is the walk to botanical gardens which takes around 20 mins.
Our staffie absolutely loves his walks.
You can catch Vline train spend a day in Melbourne it only takes 2hrs at a cost of only $10. You will love this park it is very clean and the sites are very well maintained by manager Tyson. 
He puts some much time and effort into keeping the park in tip top shape.
Make a point if you are travelling through Shepparton stop and stay you won't be disappointed.



Must stay Park

The lake and its birdlife is magnificent and being right on the lake is wonderful if you stay in one of the cabins.  The cabins are fine - standard Jayco cabin. Minimal noise from the train, more noise from the birds but this is all part of the nature experience.  And not far from the excellent swimming pool and park and central Shepparton itself.

We had a lakeside powered site, very nice sitting enjoying the view and chatting to passers by. Unfortunately the park size has been reduced due to the building of the new Arts Centre, this didn’t hinder our stay at all apart from a ing to work a little further to the amenity block as the block at our end of the park was taken for building the Arts Centre. It was probably better as it made us do more needed walking!! Hopefully the amenities will be upgraded in the future. One thing though, irresponsible dog owners didn’t pick up their dogs poop, not the parks fault but maybe they could remove it from the paths and have a word to the owners. Overall we would definitely recommend this park, great location, lovely view on the lake and friendly staff. Thank you

Visiting from QLD to see friends

Stayed here for 1 night in a Lake View Cabin which overlooked the lake and were very happy with the accommodation. Reception was lovely to deal with. The cabin had everything you would need. Definitely would stay here again. 

Cosy cabin

Position of the park is great but I was in a spot close to the train line so a bit noisy. Great space for walking with the dog near the river and around the lake. 

Good walking distance to the lovely Shepparton Butter Factory Coffee shop which was lovely too.

Council was doing some renovations at the time so the office was relocated and a bit difficult to find.

2 night stopover

Great and accommodating staff at this open plan but picturesque caravan park about a 10 minute walk out of the Shepparton township. You have to put up with a few diesel trains of a night but you become used to this quickly. Amenities are adequate but not spectacular with some major works to commence in the near future. We had a powered site but there are also many cabins and en-suite powered sites.

Tennis Tournament

Invited to choose a site for our caravan, we chose close to the Goulburn River and away from the railway track.  Trains did go by quite frequently, but did not disturb us.  Town and district attractions were nearby and we enjoyed two pleasant days.  Events and stories of the Indigenous people and their dealings with early settlers along the Goulburn River were of special interest, as were the colourful moulded cow statues, the range of artwork at the Shepparton Art Museum (SAM) and the SPC Factory Sales shop, with very reasonable prices for much more than the expected canned fruits - like sardine varieties that Coles and Woolies never stock..

Beside river and lake, near interesting town

The caravan park itself is ran down, extremely out dated and the amenities are bleak and few and far between. Water front sites are small with views of the lake on a public walking track. The park is close to everything in town so that was the plus staying here

Average

Close to town, large caravan sites but rail  line runs 100m away from park so be aware it is very noisy when trains pass during  day and night. The lake with walking/ bike tracks is on doorstep as well as the art centre
The main shopping atea of Shepparton is a short 15 minute walk away from the park

Large sites, close to town but trains create lot of noise as railway is very close
