As always first impression is my last with the team at Altitude Smiggins are next level from start to finish. Home away from home feeling, fantastic staff with amazing leaders (Lisa & Phil) are the reason we continue to return. 

The Lodge is a delightful place to stay on the snow. The staff, admirably led by Lisa & Phil all go out of their way to help and make you feel at home. 

The staff were second to none, and went over and above their call of duty to accommodate our every need. It felt like we were with family from the word go. 

Location is perfect, comfortable clean rooms, beautiful meals. Can’t wait to return to Altitude Smiggins!!

wonderful week away

Just returned to Sydney after 5 amazing nights staying at Altitude. Lisa and her team do a fantastic job of making all guests feel like they are at their second home - comfortable rooms for sleeping, casual lounge areas for relaxing... and the food? A delicious hot breakfast to start the day, and a sumptuous 3 course dinner each night (thanks to Chef Michael and his team in the kitchen)! And the bar has a great range of beers, wines, and cocktails.

Also worth mentioning it is a great place to take kids. Our two (Miss 5 and Miss 7) loved the kids dinner at 6pm, and then heading downstairs with the rest of the kids to the TV lounge to watch a movie - leaving the adults upstairs to enjoy their dinner and a few drinks 😁😁😁

We will definitely be back!

Brilliant on snow accomodation

Great place to stay, we’ve been going there for the past few years for Interschools. Nice people, comfy, good food and value for money, if you want a place to stay on the snow. It’s a 7 min free shuttle bus ride to Perisher. Child friendly.

We have just had the most amazing stay at Altitude - The Lodge. 

Can honestly not say one negative thing about this place! 

After a long day on the slopes, it was great to come back and have a quick sauna, then relax in the common area in front of the fire with a cocktail. 

With kids dinner being served separately to adults, it meant time to socialise over a spectacular 4 course meal while the kids were entertained with a movie - our daughter had a great time with her new friends! The dinner is a set menu however they were more than happy to accommodate any requests. Didn't have one single meal that I didn't enjoy and the hot skier's breakfast was a great start to a long day on the snow. 

The bar staff gave great service, thanks to Matt who remembered our drink order every time! Drink prices are also quite reasonable.

We stayed in a bush view loft room which was small, however we really only spent time in the room for sleeping so the size wasn't really an issue. The bathroom is a good size though, and everything was immaculate. 

The Lodge is approx. 200m from the snow and can be a bit of a trek coming back in the afternoon as it is uphill, however they have a 4wd Troopy which does runs in the  morning and afternoon if you're not up to the walk.

The manager Lisa was friendly and hospitable, and ran an excellent trivia night :)

Overall one of the best holidays I've ever had and we will definitely be returning in the future!

Absolutely amazing!

The staff and especially the manager Lisa were wonderful . After a day on the snow it was so good to come in and relax or have a spa or sauna then be treated to some lovely pre dinner snacks while enjoying a cocktail of the day .

VERY FRIENDLY AND GREAT FOOD .

This lovely lodge has been a staple of our family holidays at the show every year since I was very young. 

Whilst I acknowledge some personal bias towards loving this place due to my nostalgia, they have gone to great lengths to keep the rooms fresh and functional and the atmosphere cosy and warm. 

I can say without a doubt this is a one of a kind, beautiful lodge. With fully staffed kitchen, bar and a roaring fireplace I recommend it to everyone thinking about skiing in Perisher for the Winter Season. 

A Wonderful Annual Family Holiday! 

We came all the way from WA for a snow holiday with our young kids and the Lodge helped make our first snow experience so much better. All the staff were helpful and welcoming, the place has a very homely feel to it. It is an older building with a few out-dated colour schemes but not run-down at all. We looked forward to sipping cocktails at the bar each night while having an amazing 3 course meal, all while the kids were taken great care of. We will most definitely be back!
