After a very friendly welcome we settled into our digs. Although dated the interior was schmick as. Tidy as you'd want, clean, well fitted out (including a massive TV) & the bed lined was spot on...crispier than grandma ever had in my early days. The air cond worked well on our winters night, plenty of hot water, traffic noise was minimal & the price was so good. Definitely return when we next visit. Kudos to the owners/management.

1 night in town

Incredibly nice, dedicated staff, deserving alot of praise.  Has been working really hard to keep covid safe and going the extra mile for visitors. Really enjoyed the location as well and the apartment was really nice and clean.

Beach trip

Once again I picked this place as google told me it was the cheapest in town. It did the job very well - clean, very comfortable bed, super quiet and spacious. The location is also excellent as it provides an amazing view of the nearby waterways. 

Great value 

Amazing views, fantastic staff, housekeeping service available. Close to town. Very comfortable beds and very clean. Would highly recommend staying here we will be back. Short drive to beautiful little towns and lots to do

Amazing

My fiancee Linda stayed at Lakes Entrance Motel in Kalimna West for several nights and was very happy with the lovely decor and the peace and quietness. Mareewas a wonderful host and always has a nice smile on her face. We would recommend it to people heading through to the coast.

Quiet clean and 10 minutes drive to the beach

Stayed for 1 one night on my way to south coast NSW.  Was greated warmly at reception.  Can park at the door to the room.  Rooms are dated but spotless and comfortable bed.  I arrived late in the day and was gone early so just what I needed.

Perfect for a stop over

We had two nights here and it was very quiet at night as positioned on bank under main road so minimal traffic noise. Yes it was a little tired but the price charged reflected that so no surprise, and importantly it was clean with fresh towels and sheets. The bed was comfy and the pillows not flat. It was next to a pub (2 minute walk)and we were there on Tues and $20 steak night brings the folks in so booking recommended. There was a microwave and toaster in the room that came in handy as 10-15 minute walk back to town. It is close to a lovely look out for great views

Warm and comfy

This little motel was extremely nice and we had a pleasant stay there. We were thinking whether to book a motel near beach or go with this one. Finally we end up staying in this and which was a great decision. The most important thing is that it’s located next to lookout and you can have some breathtaking views from your room. Also it’s a less than 5 minutes drive to town centre, so you won’t be disappointed staying there. Bed was comfy, but the pillows were too hard and high and linen was bit stiff. Other than that the motel was absolutely stunning. Very well cleaned and have all the basics which you need. The hotel management lady was an extremely nice lady and she helped us a lot by providing some valuable tips to make our visit a great one.

Absolutely nice motel.

This hotel is clean and tidy. Rooms are a bit outdated, but the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is adequate for what you need for a quick stay. The staff are very friendly. Great location to the lookout. Only a 5 minute stroll down to the water and hetty. A fantastic pub with great food is a two minute walk. 

Beautiful views 

Stayed overnight at this motel for the second time in 2 years. Booked online for a quadruple room. Visited with friends and had booked 2 rooms. The motel is old and is crying for renovation. 
The room had 2 double beds, the linens were neat and clean.
The bathroom looked old and there was no hot water in the morning for a bath.
There were basic facilities which is good enough for a day or two trip. Room was bit cramped but manageable. 
The main door lock was a big problem, you couldn't open it without applying considerable force. I got locked out from inside and had to try multiple times to open the lock. Which got us bit stressed. Calling for room service was of no use as no one picked the phone. 
There is a swimming pool and barbeque, poolside tables for lunch or dinner, but there are no heating facilities when the weather is cold.
They have stopped operating restaurant and we had to get food from outside.

The back of motel, there is beautiful look out point.
The motel is roughly 2Km from town centre and attractions.
I may stay there again if I am unable to get another better motel.
Overall, I would say Good, and it can be better with a bit of renovation.
