Stayed at this hidden gem and we were really happy we did.  It is not new, but beautifully clean and comfy.  There were lots of Native Birds in the garden.
The Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Can't wait to go back again to just chill and relax

Tranquil & Peaceful but close to everything

Stayed here two nights in Jan including the night of my birthday. It’s an unassuming spot that is surprisingly luxurious with lovely extra touches and an incredibly friendly and helpful host. Highly recommended

Beautiful and friendly

We only stayed here for one night whilst passing through Margaret River as part of our 3 week tour of WA.
We had a lovely room, with the most fabulous view out across the paddock and woods.
We came here for peace and quiet and to experience the rural WA.
We sat out in the evening and were treated to Kangaroos up close and as darkness fell the trees came alive.
We left our door open all night with just the fly screen across to hear the night. In the morning the lovely cows came to say good morning!.
Great BBQ area and Karen the owner was fab, nothing was problem for her.
If you want peace and quiet and the chance to hear and see the sounds of the Bush then this is the perfect place.

Short but amazing

I stayed 2 nights whilst in Margaret River for work. I liked the idea of a rural setting only minutes from town. I found my stay to be comfortable and  relaxing a nice change from the hustle and bustle of the city. Thankyou Karen for your warm welcoming & hospitality, I’m already looking forward to my next stay. 😊

Short but Sweet

Quiet country setting, approximate 3 kms from town, cabins are a good size with a turbo tub, good size tv, air conditioned, owners very helpfull with local knowledge. Kangaroo in next padock, lodge is handy to main road, but not noisy 

Marri lodge

We were lucky to get a room during the long weekend in June. The lodge is close to town, quiet and relaxing with our room facing a towards a dam. The owner was very obliging offering to take us into town if we couldn't get a taxi for dinner. The rooms are not 5 star but large very comfortable rooms. We will be back based on the location and service. The rate was very good for that area.

Comfortable

Accommodation was two bedroom cottage set in park like grounds.
Quiet and we'll appointed.
Set up for self catering with very adequate facilities.
Rural outlook. 
About 4.5 Kms from Margaret River town. 
Although not a modern facility it was how described in advertising. Very friendly and helpful owner, good communicator.
Clean, warm and secure.
Would not hesitate to stay again. 


Short visit to Margaret River

Paid $225 per night for extremely basic accomodation. Minimal cooking facilities and a tiny Tv. The elderly gentleman looking after the property would be better suited to run the place as the word hospitable is what hospitality is about and the owner is anything but that. I would never stay here again nor would I advise others to but I guess that’s what you get when you book on the last minute

Very Rude ignorant owner

Was chastised by the owner for using the dryer in the Laundry despite there being no indication that the laundry was not available for the guests to use. Also chastised for offering what I felt was helpful information that would make it easier for guest to find this rather out of the way accommodation. Some people just don't want to  know. If possible avoid.

bad service

We booked last minute and were told that the cabin would be left open for us upon our arrival. We appreciated Karen in accommodating us in this way despite her ignoring our additional queries. Upon arrival we found the accommodation and furnishings to be rather dated and sparse. No firewood for the fire and implements provided (whats the point of advertising a fireplace if its then rendered unusable?). This then became a theme as the washing machine was also unusable and flooded twice rendering it to unusable. We also discovered, quite unfortunately, that the doors to the bedrooms have an unfortunate habit of locking when closed and when we contacted Karen to help us get back into the master room (as there was no key provided) she didn't reply but arrived in her dressing gown (understandable as it was 9pm) looking extremely unhappy and telling us we had gotten her out of bed and then blamed us for locking the door!! We were shocked at how rude she was and that we ended up apologizing to her rather than the other way around as we were so incredibly uncomfortable and felt extremely unwelcome and burdensome. The beds were also quite uncomfortable and be warned there is no wifi. On our last day we overslept some and whilst we were trying to finish packing up Karen arrived knocking on the door and proceeded to abuse my husband stating that her cleaner was waiting (it was 10:15am) and that there was an "expectation" that we would have left already. He apologized once again and said that we were running a little late and trying to get our things together in order to leave and she just continued to berate him. After leaving she contacted me by phone accusing us of having used all four beds and that we had only paid for 3 people (we were a party of three and had used 2 beds). I told Karen that we had only used two beds and there WERE only 3 of us which she well knew as she had made our stay very uncomfortable every day with her visits. Honestly the worst experience I ever had on any continent. People like this should absolutely not be in the hospitality visit.
