This was the best place I stayed in Tasmania and was close to the Gorge and city centre.  The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and a toaster and kettle were provided.  There was even a free drink at the restaurant downstairs!

Excellent value for a central hotel.

Stayed for 5 nights, no problems at all. Friendly staff and the room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is in a good location, with Coles across the road. Free off street car park. Great place to stay when in Launceston.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable

Our affordable room was small and basic yet clean enough. The bed was comfortable.  I didn't use the free internet, so I'm not sure how fast it is. Juanita and Steve are very friendly as well. The restaurant and pizza place downstairs was delicious too.

Affordable clean room

I needed a bed, close to LGH, that wasn't going to cost me too much. The Centennial was a good choice. Location is two blocks from the hospital. Room was clean, had good facilities and big enough for two people for a few days. Bed comfy and I slept soundly. 
WiFi good and free. Parking on site.
Hotel has a very cosy, grill style restaurant and there's a pizzaria next door. Coles supermarket actiss the road. Excellent location for my needs.
No air-conditioning and a quiet fridge, just perfect for sleeping soundly. My room fronted the main, 3 lane road into Launceston but the traffic was minimal to zero after 10pm on a Friday night. I slept with the window open all night and enjoyed the warm, Autumn breeze.
Check in easy, friendly and informative.
For the price, a top spot.

Good Value Close to LGH

Booked at short notice so options a bit limited for under $100. 

Recently stayed at 2 other budget options and this was probably the best of the 3.

Room and ensuite were small, but functional. TV was slightly bigger than the 20" advertised (thank goodness) 

Reception lady was friendly and efficient.  Pretty good location opposite a coles supermarket and nice flat 10 minutes walk to CBD.  

Traffic on Bathurst street a bit noisy on a Saturday night. But only restaurant downstairs, not pub or club.



Not bad for a budget option. 

Recently stayed in room 11 with a mate for the weekend to attend footy. Room 11 is a two bedroom apartment type with 2 large bedrooms with a lounge in the middle. It was fairly clean but very sparsley furnished. A clock radio in each bedroom would be handy, there were a couple of electric radiators which we had to leave on continuously to keep chill out no split systems so assume would get quite hot in summer.
There was a bar fridge with about a dozen long life milk sachets in it, four mis-matched cups for coffee and tea. A few nibblies and maybe a couple of bottles of water would be a nice touch. 
In the bathroom we had one glass and 2 tiny packaged soaps, no shampoos, etc. Turned on tap to get a drink of water and the water was rusty, had to let it run for a while. Shower water pressure was terrible and hot water ran out very quickly, also a bit of mould on tiles.
Could be a lot better with a few more little touches, good location but a lot of traffic noise.

We had decent stay here. Room size is okay and had free car park. It was weird to have wash basin in room and not in bathroom. Small bathroom and window. Opp to Coles and short walk from town. We had last minute booking for Christmas so even paid higher than usual price.

Decent stay 

Very warm room with only a fan, no air conditioning. The shower is in the bath tub next to the toilet. Would be an issue for seniors or anyone with limited leg movement. Extremely tight space between toilet and shower. You might actually need to stand in the bath to shut the door before sitting on the toilet! 
Out dated small screen TV, not a smart TV.  Double bed, one side hard up against the wall. Very soft mattress decent pillows. Noisy room, lots of door banging and road noise.  Price at booking not the same as quoted on booking.com For $119 a night it's over priced. Meals at Steve's grill were tasty however pricey at $34 for a parma. Stay a couple of blocks closer to Brisbane mall. No contact whatsoever with hotel staff. Stayed for 2 nights

Below average

Very basic Hotel as the broucure says so, still if you ask for extra things you may get them. Got to stay at this hotel through Flight Centre, which they should have shown us before making us signe on the dotted line, then say you can't change.
Very disappointed with Flight Centre. Do Not Thust what they offer you.
