Gorgeous in every way !!! Quiet , peaceful, relaxing, amazing location , the place got it all !! The view is spectacular, nice swimming pool, the cabins are superb, nice and clean .. 
Warm welcoming, and the dogs are so playful... 
Highly recommended!!! 

Relaxing holidays 

This is a place to get away from it all and take in nature. We hiked Mt Warning then came  back late in the afternoon to be greeted by the lovely owner who built us a fire outside our room. We had a microwave and kettel plus a cook burner. It really is all about relaxing here, no tv or wifi just nature in all her beauty.  10 mins to Mt Warning  only. There is nothing flash about this but it is clean and the location is 5 star.

Relaxing retreat

A hidden gem nestled in the rain forest and not far from Uki, Nimbin, Mt Warning and Byron Bay. Friendly hosts, very clean 3 star accommodation. Shop at the local markets (Uki on a Saturday morning) and the motel provides cooking facilities. Kick back and  enjoy the sound of silence (there is no reception here for TV, wifi or mobiles). Enjoy a swim in the pool. Breakfast on the desk with hosts, Leesa and Andrew, and enjoy fresh fruit, juice, freshly baked bread and the best frittata I have ever tasted. All this followed by bacon and an assortment of grilled vegetables and freshly brewed coffee.

Rainforest hideaway

26/01/2016, I am always  looking  for pet friendly accommodation, Mt Warning Forest Hideaway looked excellent on the internet, pictures can be deceiving, and not what I was expecting,, its a pretty steep drive for a little car NOT 4x4 but  beautiful surroundings all rain forest, also no phone reception unless you drive down the road a few km,  we drove past the pool and it was dirty, the room was large and spacious, but the cupboards are real old and chip board, the stove was new but we didn't use it., the kettle was brown inside and the toaster was not real good, we had the spa room and that was the best thing, the lock on the sliding door was broken and we couldn't lock the front sliding door, so we had to use the back door to get out and walk through mud and slop, I had to walk through the mud to get out of the room,, but the back of the unit is supposed to be for your dogs, it was terrible I wasn't going to put my doggies in the red mud,  perhaps they could check the cutlery and can opener as ours was broken,  we received the breakfast basket lots of food, that was nice I would have preferred a cook breakfast.   The lady does a fantastic massage and its cheap very enjoyable,   Secret their dog (she loved our little doggies and she sat at our door all the time we stayed there, its such a beautiful spot and the people are really lovely,  the furniture is old but they are renovating the rooms,  the whole place needs some TLC to bring it up to scratch for me, will stay there again when we are in the area, these lovely people need to rent the units to make money to renovate, my doggies were happy and that's the main thing lovely place, maybe the fridge could have been turned on before we got there that would have been really nice to have cold drinks. I know I have gone over board but better you know, there are no shops close by so make sure you take plenty of drinks

If you are looking to watch TV or rented DVD's this will NOT be the place for you to stay.  However if you are looking for some peace and tranquillity, comfortable accommodations and watching the stars at night, then zero in here.  Host Andrew and Hostess Lisa are just wonderful people - ready to help and provide information or generally chat about any topic.  It is a beautiful property with a flowing creek and you feel at home here.

A REAL "HIDEAWAY"

New owners nice enough people our room clean and tidy..BBq's were badly rusted and a total disgrace no usable rest of the place is run down needs work....They have a community room with fridge micro wave both filthy and not usable..Needs to be cleaned up a lot but still worth it if you have a clean room its nice and peaceful
