If you are lucky enough to get in to Spinners, you will find a spotlessly clean hostel, despite it being home to lots of long termers. Well designed dorms with loads of storage space, well appointed bathrooms, though probably just short of an additional toilet. The bathroom layout makes it slightly awkward, having to squeeze past people using the sinks to get to the loos too. Also, ditch the noisy hand dryers in favour of silent paper towels as the dryers can be heard in the dorms, even through the night. 
But otherwise it's great, with a spacious kitchen and lounge and lovely outdoor area. Book early!

Backpacker accommodation of the highest standards

The best backpackers I have ever stayed at, I've stayed at hundreds over the years...... and I've even owned my own backpacker hostel 😀

Very well organised, good management and staff. 
It is very clean and tidy. 
Kitchen is spotless and very well equipped with pots, plates and utensils etc. Good storage for food both in the large fridges for cold items and your own container for dry food.

I stayed for a week in the 8 bed mixed dorm room, which was comfortable and quiet. Lockable storage locker by the bed. USB and other charging points by the pillow of the bed.

Bathrooms are great, clean and tidy with fantastic hot water for showering.

Nice chilled atmosphere with Netflix on the communal TV in the lounge area plus a quiet area outside under the vines. Not quite party central but laughter and camaraderie amongst the mainly 20-30 year olds.

*Bring a towel, they are not provided but for sale for at $6

Very pleasant,clean,comfortable beds and nice dining /resting places inside and outside.Showers and toilets impeccable.Highly recommend the place , staff very nice and international .Backpackers friendly and interesting crowd 😉

Positive “senior backpacker” stay

Fantastic place, quiet, clean,  comfortable.  Great location. Staff members very professional and nice. Would definitely stay again if I could get a booking, incredibly hard to get a room it's that POPULAR and I understand why.

The best hostels you can find close to Perth CBD. Wonderful and nice staff, always a friendly face, and the whole place just felt like a home from home. One of the few downsides is that even if it's close to CBD it's still always a 15min to the closest foodstore.

A home aways from home.

Had a great stay at Spinners . Really helpful friendly team,  place is very clean , bed is comfortable . 
Main point is this place is highly functional - plenty of storages and personal space when one wants to ; and plenty of socialising space. Big kitchen for socialising over meals ; TV area ; outdoor courtyard for morning/ evening drinks ; good work spaces; and really very home-like, with friends over type . 
Easy walk to town and nearby eats/ music bars etc .

From the moment we arrived the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The whole hostel is well set up, very clean and well organised. I feel like a lot of thought was put into the design of the hostel and how things were going to be used efficiently. Thanks for the lovely stay guys 

Generous and Clean

Fantastic friendly owner who has created a great hostel which feels homely whilst being stylish, modern and practical.
The kitchen has everything you could possibly need including a smoothie maker and instant boiling water.
The bed was so comfortable I could have stayed in it all day if it was not for the fact that all living spaces are cosy and filled with friendly and interesting characters to socialise with. There are also box shelves and plugs for your convenience both on the top and bottom bunks!

Clean, modern and comfortable.

Very clean: the staff clean the whole place every day. Calm as the roops are upstairs and cut from eventual downstairs' noises.
The staff is really great. They are really friendly and always here when you need anything. Great location as it is about 20-30 minutes walk to the yagan square and the center. I couldn't wish better as a hostel for my arrival in Australia. Thank you very much spinners hostel!!

Really great hostel

We arrived off a very late flight and were met by helpful and welcoming staff. The beds were very comfortable and large for a single bed. The hostel was kept very clean, with good bathroom facilities and kitchen. We found the location to be convenient for public transport. Altogether a very pleasant stay.
