Stayed the night at the Port Campbell Flash Packers, Rooms are very clean & has everything you need. I thought it was great value for money. Awesome drive/ ride from Apollo Bay to Port Campbell.  Beautiful part of the world.

Excellent Value Excellent Location 

Pros: 
So close to the 12 Apostles, we left at 05:30 and made it with time to spare for a 05:55 sunrise. 
Well equipped kitchen.
Homely environment. 
We got upgraded, ensuite very nice!

None really!!

Met all our needs! 

Stayed here for one night thru Bunyip Tours while on a 3 day 2 night tour thru Great Ocean Rd and Gampians.  Very clean and comfortable room which I shared with my 2 adult children.  Highly recommend whether alone or with your family!

Clean and comfortable room

Stayed in one of the double rooms with en-suite. These go out onto a little porch at the front of the property. Top tip: the air conditioning unit doubles up as a heater! Ange was a super-helpful host who couldn’t have done any more to make our stay enjoyable. She gave us a jug of fresh milk from the communal kitchen (tea/coffee making facilities are in room), a blanket in case we needed it (the heater worked well so we didn’t), and lent us an umbrella for the short walk into town for dinner. As you can tell it was cold and rainy when we visited, but don’t let that put you off getting up early to visit the 12 apostles and the other sights on the Great Ocean Road - a must-see. Great stay at Port Campbell Flash Packers and Guest House - highly recommended! 

Great place with super-friendly hosts 

Excellent rate for an excellent room. The owners are very accommodating and super friendly. Communal kitchen available, everything is clean & comfortable. Would totally recommend. Central to port campbell, just a stroll away from beach & shops.

Better than the name suggests

Perfect stop over if you wish to see twelve apostles and other stops on GOR in daylight, sunset etc. you can easily pop there and back. Very close. Room clean and functional, no de lux. Right by the road if you arrive direct from Melbourne 

Great ocean road

Door open keys in room, everything clean and good sized bathroom. Good shower Plenty of hot water. Good aircon. Tea and coffee provided but no milk, so ok if you like it black.  room on the small side, limited space to open suitcases and no hanging space, bed was very creaky, with every slightest movement, and only two pllows on a double bed. Arrived Friday later afternoon, plenty of places to eat in easy walking distance but all very busy, Wi-Fi could have been better

Good stop off on the great ocean road

I stayed here for one night when I was driving the Great Ocean Road. It is well located to walk to the Main Street where all the bars and restaurants are, and the streets were well lit at night. 

The visit did not start well as there was no one present on the property when I arrived at about 3 p.m. I noticed a sign written in chalk on the wall with the phone number, which I rang 3 times and left two messages, but no one got back to me. As I had booked through booking.com I called their customer service and they got a response. The owner turned up about 10 minutes later saying he had not heard my calls or messages. 

He showed me to a self-contained Queen room at the front of the property which is what I had booked. The room was quite basic, but clean and comfortable. There was a kitchen sink, fridge, kettle, toaster, hair dryer and flat screen TV in the room, and cutlery and crockery for two people. 

The water took a while to run warm, but it did eventually. If you are just looking for somewhere to stay while you are touring the area, this place is fine. 

Clean, comfortable room

Decent facilities and rather comfy rooms. Has a nice common room with everything supplied. Service wasn't necessarily the best, but good for an overnight stay. Quite close to the town center as well, which was a bonus.
