Cottesloe Beach Hotel is a few minutes' walk from Cottesloe Beach, Perth's favorite surf beach. The hotel has good rooms with attractive views over the expansive Indian Ocean. It features both bars and restaurants. The Verandah Bar is a great place to have a drink after a dip in the Indian Ocean. Cottesloe Beach Hotel is a feature of Western Australia's Cottesloe Beach, which is well-liked by locals and families.

Good rooms and ocean views

Perfect location to watch the sunset, situated opposite the beach, the staff are amazing, each one is polite and have a smile on their face when attending to you. David (Reception Manager) brilliant, so helpful and informative, totally sets your expectations for your stay. 
Things not on the website include; free beach towels, free deckchairs, free bodyboards and free bike hire, fully recommend this hotel, no negatives to mention.

Understated Gem, great value, perfect location to watch the sunset. Staff are all pleasant, nothing is too much. A must!

We had a wood fired pizza with prawns, zucchini, cheese, chili. Fantastic. Properly foldable and delicious. Friendly service and good wine info. Highly recommend a visit for the views and ambience. So glad we found it. Queensland travellers

We visited the restaurant in January and had an opportunity to spend a night at CBH. It was perfect for us. Michael was very welcoming, helping us with our bags and arranging a reservation in the restaurant downstairs. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderfully relaxed

Lovely place for food and a drink to just chill out looking at the ocean.
Packed for the AFL while we went but still a nice place to go to chill.
Great pint of Guinness 😎.
We took the train from Perth then bus, easy transport even without a car. To be fair with a car would have been worse, looked tough parking as we walked around.

The Cottesloe Beach Hotel was unexpectedly fabulous. Sure, it was a bummer to realise there was a lot of stairs and no lift when your luggage weighs nearly 30kg pp but the manager had staff assist us before we had time to really notice. This grand old Art Deco beauty originally opened in 1905. The current decor is fresh and modern yet compliments the original fittings perfectly. 
We had a king ocean view room which had a spacious balcony which reminded me of a cruise ship balcony.
Leaving the door open with the ocean breeze and sound of the waves.was so nice.
The hotel bar and food was also wonderful and Sundays are very relaxed with live music.
Totally recommend.

Unexpected Charmer

We recently had our wedding at CBH and can't recommend the hotel  and staff enough. Everything was so easy to organise with the lovely staff. The venue itself is stunning,we had great food and a lovely selection of drinks, which made the whole event a fantastic day. Clodagh our events manager and Victor were so helpful, professional and made our wedding a dream come true :)

Cottesloe Beach Hotel is one of the more up-market hang-outs on Perth's coastal fringes. The Verandah Bar is for meeting friends who want a sophisticated catch-up. The Verandah Bar will give you a great view of the sun sinking  into the Indian Ocean. It's a place to have a few beers after you've been hitting the surf.  The bar has local and craft beers on tap. The Cotesloe Beach Hotel is a great place to laze away the afternoon, and evening.

Lingering along the beach

I mucked up our accom booking and My husband and I ended up “homeless”
We were having a drink at the Cott, my husband mentioned our plight to the barman and he offered a place at the hotel.
Being last minute, we were given the only room, but next day we were upgraded to a  beach front room. Great deck with sun all afternoon for the price of a partial view room.
Just as we settled in wa was put into another lockdown 
The Cott understood that our flight to Melbourne was cancelled, and they allowed us to stay all day until we could leave for our new flight 
So generous 
They offered us all ammenities and service
The view and vibe of this pub and hotel is priceless 

Unexpected Visit

Ideally located just across the road from Cottesloe Beach. Good pub food with plenty of different beers on offer. Suggest the front bar as it has the best views of the ocean, but there is a back bar area as well. Seemed like a decent TAB area for the punters. Plenty of parking close-by and good friendly staff. Give it a try.
