Sanctuary Inn is the best accommodation I've stayed in for years. The homely feel, customers service, and meals, were second to none. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Hastings. 

Excellent!!!

Fantastic and accommodating staff. We had a leaky toilet and were able to put us into a new room, no hassles. Rooms wonderful size. Asked to stay an extra night and again no hassles. They are renovating and what they have done thus far is excellent.
Great pool and pool area.
Situated within a great distance of the town.

I definitely will be back.

Amazing place to stay

A wonderful place to stay. We stayed for 9 days and loved it. Close to harbor, beaches, all parts of Peninsula. 
The staff are the best. Philip the owner is simply amazing and very gracious. Cleaners were so lovely. 
Room cleaned, towels changed. Toiletries replaced daily. 
Rooms (refurbished) were excellent. 
Great value for money. 
Great location. 
Attached restaurant is excellent.

Great place on the Peninsula!

I celebrated my birthday at the restaurant with approx. 30 family and friends and can I say, right from the beginning the communication, food, and service was very, very good. 
We had to change our booking due to COVID three times and each time it was handled with a minimum of fuss or bother. 
The staff made my night so special - I really appreciate everyone's effort.  We had soooo many compliments on the food, service, and venue. 

I definitely recommend this restaurant for any occasion or even just a quiet dinner for two.

Toscano's Restaurant on site - just wonderful!

Lovely stay in family suite, they have renovated most of the rooms and they are lovely and stylish. The beds are super comfortable and the family suite has a seperate room for the kids to sleep in. And do yourself a favour and visit the restaurant.

Great family suite

Stayed here several times over a three week period.  Every stay was consistently outstanding.  The welcome upon arrival from the team with a streamlined checkin. The motel has undergone a major refurbishment with only one block left to be updated.  No expense has been spared from the luxurious bed ensembles with quality linen and pillows to the comfy sofa and dining setting.  Decor is very tasteful  and pleasing to the eye.  Plush new carpet and white shutters.  The bathroom is fully renovated also  and spacious.   Very comfortable stay and a credit to the owner Philip and his team. Thank you.

Excellent well appointed accommodation

This is a great place. Very clean, very helpful staff and centrally located. Highly recommend if you are attending ceremonies at HMAS Cerberus.  We stayed in a family suite, which gave everyone their own space. We travelled to other towns and enjoyed the sights.

What a fantastic place to base yourself to explore some of the best wineries in Victoria. 

The majority of this hotel has recently gone through a major refurbishment, including rooms, restaurant and pool area, with the remaining rooms progressively being fully renovated but all equally as clean and modern with new furniture......and the most amazing beds!!!....like sleeping on a cloud!
 
At the end of the day, coming back to the restaurant was equally as impressive with some  amazing dishes on the menu and a super impressive and well priced wine list that can be enjoyed inside by the fire or outside by the pool. The garlic prawn entree and house special Parmesan Wheel which is prepared at your table... are both to die for! 

Not surprisingly, both nights we stayed here, the restaurant was fully booked. Many dining guests we spoke to were locals so the word is clearly getting out! 

Will most definitely be marking this one down and coming back again soon.

Wow!! Hastings best kept secret!

Having been recommended to go to this restaurant by friends absolutely delighted
with the true Italian experience.
The food ,the service,the ambiance took us back to our fabulous memories of Italy.
An extensive menu matched with a quality wine list at a more than fair price.
Would highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to return.

TOSCANO EXPERIENCE RIGHT ON OUR DOORSTEP

I stayed here with my 2 sons for 3 nights. We were in a 2 bedroom unit.
From our arrival, I was impressed with the place.
Check in was quick and easy and I was given all relevant information. Our unit was down the back (no. 29), and had everything we could need for our stay - one bedroom with a king bed and one with 2 single beds. The unit was exceptionally clean and was well equipped - full size fridge, microwave, cooktop and necessary kitchen items.
The decor was neutral and well kept.
The pool area was great - a small kids pool and a good sized deeper pool. Plenty of lounge chairs.

One night, we ate in the on site restaurant - Toscano’s.
The staff were all friendly, helpful and professional. The food was fresh and tasty. The decor is still a work in progress and will be lovely once it is all finished. 

Every staff member we encountered - reception, housekeeping, restaurant were lovely.

The Inn is only a short walk from the town centre and the marina and Pelican Park.

There are refurbishments taking place at the Inn and this will enhance the place even further.

Very highly recommended.
