We thoroughly recommend Moonlight Bay Apartments to anyone.  Very clean and with helpful staff, these apartments are conveniently situated with easy walking to the Beach and Restaurants.  We cannot wait to go back again and stay longer next time.  Rosie and Chris

Great stay

Great location close to the beach pub and restaurants, would definitely recommend. Apartment has all you require and great comfortable bedding. Staff were great to deal with when we needed them once. 

Close to all you need

We stayed for 3 nights in a two bedroom apartment. The apartment was clean and spacious and had everything we needed.

The location is brilliant. 1 minute walk to the main street/beach/cafes/restaurants! Perfect.

Kids loved the pool.

One really slight negative was the main bedroom in our apartment shared a wall with the main bedroom of the apartment next door and all 3 mornings we were woken by the occupants next door between 5.50am and 6.00am.  No fault of theirs as they weren't being overly loud, there is just no sound proofing between the rooms. Take ear plugs.  

I would definitely stay here again.

3 night stay

The rooms are lovely, spacious and modern. Loved the decor, big comfortable bed and effective heating on a cold winter’s night. Super convenient at the centre of town. Friendly and helpful team at the front desk. We would definitely stay again.

Nice and spacious, will definitely stay again

We were there for a weeks R & R and thats what we got. The apartments sit right behind the main St in Rye and is within easy walking distance to the RSL and the pub just to name a few places. The room was a 2 bedroom apartment and it was spacious and had everything we needed to be able to cook for ourselves if we wanted.  The bathroom was fantastic as well. The staff were friendly and eager to assist if we had any issues. Would highly recommend a place to stay if your on the Mornington Peninsula.

Top location Close to everything

Stayed for a week in Jan 2021  with family of 4. Location is amazing. Walk to shops, restaurants and of course the beach just outside your door. Our room was one of the bigger ones with 2 bedrooms and a lounge and kitchen. It was away from the pool which we preferred.  It has a great pool which was heated (that was surprising being during summer time) but loved it you could go in at any time. We had a king size bed which was great. Clean and well equipped with BBQ onsite and great private parking.  Most famous ice cream shop in Rye just outside our door.  Staff were great. Will come again.

Great Summer Break

Our ground floor king spa studio was spacious, extremely clean with a well equipped kitchen for our 5 night stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The bed was very comfortable for my back with good quality linen. Such a great location, 5 minutes to the Rye pier, beach and cafes. We did enjoy a few swims in the heated pool even though the weather was a bit cool.
I suggest you request a ground floor room when booking with the office if you prefer not to climb the steps.
We will definitely stay here again now we have found Moonlight Bay Apartments!

Great location, good value, spotless units

We discovered this place after searching for a quiet, well located apartment on the Mornington Peninsula.
Brad (the host) could not have been more helpful and we were quickly settled into a spacious, well equipped and newly renovated one bedroom apartment.
Moonlight Bay Apartments are on a cul-de-sac back off the main drag and a 5 minute walk to the Rye Pier and the beach, as well as shops and restaurants.
Our apartment was spotlessly clean, had a kitchenette and cooking utensils, free super fast wifi and a king bed, as well as the best shower I have used in many a long day!!!!!
We were on the upper level overlooking the pool, which brings me to the only downfall of the place - there is no lift, so if you cannot lug a case up a decent flight of stairs, then ask for a ground floor room.
Rye is conveniently located - close to posh Sorrento and Portsea, and within a few minutes drive of all the wineries and other attractions of the Mornington Peninsula.
We had a most enjoyable 2 night stay - Brad was extremely helpful with recommendations for things to do and places to see.
Can honestly suggest Moonlight Bay Apartments as a great place to stay.

Wonderful Hospitality

We only stayed one night, but will definitely be back another time. Brad, on reception, couldn't have been nicer and the room was spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean. The central pool sparkled in the sun and the overall vibe was lovely. Cafes and beach are a very short walk away. Great place.
