We loved our two night stay at Buoys on Queens. The Banksia suite was exceptionally clean and well appointed. The decor was classy and welcoming. The bed was super comfortable with top quality linen. There were so many extras in the welcome pack, not just the usual tea and coffee. The location was perfect for our needs, a short stroll up to the shops and very convenient to All Smiles, the venue that was hosting the wedding we were attending. Anthony (the host of Buoys on Queens) was genuine and friendly, welcoming us personally on arrival.We could not fault any aspect of our stay here and would highly recommend this beautifully quiet and tucked away slice of paradise for a stay in Sorrento.

Classy, tranquil, convenient, well appointed.

We stayed for 3 nights in the Tea Tree Suite from Boxing Day. I researched long and hard before deciding on this property and was so happy with our choice to stay here. Anthony gave us the familiarisation information on arrival. The fridge and cupboards were stocked with really beautiful extras that we didn't even need to go out for breakfast. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, very roomy and beautifully laid out with lots of privacy. I love the way it is nestled into the bush away from the busy main streets of Sorrento, yet it is still just a short walk away from the Main Street. This is an ideal base for seeing the sights of the Mornington Peninsula. I felt so comfortable and relaxed here and slept so well in the comfortable bed. I would definitely stay here again.

A fabulous relaxing experience

I did a lot of research before booking Buoys on Queen. We stayed 5 nights as we were in Sorrento for our goddaughter's wedding. Hence, we needed somewhere cosy, private and with all the modern world conveniences plus space. Both Jason and Anthony are a joy to communicate with. I told them before checking in my husband loves his Nespresso and if they have a Nespresso compatible machine. They didn't but they took the trouble to get us one so we could bring our own Nespresso pods. That was just great service. We arrived very late on check-in but there was no dramas. Anthony waited for us and gave us a familiarisation tour and that was the first and last time we saw the hosts. But that was no problem at all because they are so responsive on the phone. And all the goodies they prepared for us was more than we could finish in the 5 days we were there. And the place was spotlessly clean. I travel a lot and am extremely fussy, so it is not easy for a piece to impress me. Our friends visited one night for a coffee and they were so impressed that they have taken all the details of the place and will be making a booking when they are in Sorrento next. 

Stayed at Buoys while attending a wedding in Sorrento

We had a tremendous 4 night stay at Buoys on Queens. Our suite, the Moonah Suite, was ringed by windows overlooking the garden and sand dunes of the National Park. We had a large deck and a beautiful outdoor eating area. The barbecue was much appreciated. The location was excellent; minutes to downtown Sorrento and Portsea, minutes to Sorrento Ocean Beach and minutes to fantastic hiking trails. The Suite was beautifully provisioned, decorated, furnished and appointed. The owners provided a number of thoughtful touches, including sparkling wine, dark chocolate and fresh fruit.

Beautiful place for romantic getaway or exploration of the Mornington Peninsula

We stayed in the Tea Tree Suite during the week. Anthony & Jason were fantastic hosts, with Anthony meeting us when we arrived to give us the keys and show us around. The suite was very comfortable, beautifully furnished, quiet and only a 5-10 minute walk to the main street. There were breakfast provisions, fruit, a bottle of sparkling wine and some other tasty treats. The garden is a relaxing place to walk around. Anthony also showed us the Moonah Suite when we departed, which is very impressive. It felt like a home away from home. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautifully furnished, quiet location & close to the main street

We stayed in the Tea Tree Suite, perfect for a couple. Super quiet. Very clean, ACs in each room, very comfy bed, plenty of cupboard space in the bedroom, massive TV with Netflix in the living room, kitchenette with table & chairs, coffee pod machine, large fridge full of lovely extras like sparkling wine, dips, cheese & biscuits, chocs etc. even a small washing machine. Also your own little patio. The garden is beautiful, coastal with natives, lovely fruit trees, BBQ etc. A mere 5 minute walk into the Sorrento main drag so once there you don’t need to use your car. Also an easy 15mt or so walk to either the front or back beaches. Anthony & Jason are delightful - happily gave us an early check in & late check out in the busiest period on the Peninsula.  We peaked a view at the larger Moonah suite which also looked beautifully laid out. We’ll be back for sure. Highly recommended

An absolute gem, beautifully appointed, quiet, yet in the heart of Sorrento

We spent a full weekend at Buoys on Queens’ Moonah Suite and couldn’t have asked for more. Absolutely loved it- gorgeously decorated, clean and kitted out with thoughtful little extras like a bottle of sparkling wine, cheese, fruit, etc etc. Highly recommended!
