Selena, Magnetic Island is in the most beautiful place.  The chalet is one of the most comfortable we stayed in all trip. And as for the staff, they were humorous and helpful…nothing was too much for them and we would go there again, 5 Star!

Great hostel!! Really chilled relaxed vibes, everywhere was super clean and staff were so friendly! Good location as well, bus stop right outside and the beach a 5 minute walk away. Loved the free yoga class as well! 

Great hostel! Highly recommend 

As a solo traveller this was a great place to meet others …. for example during social hour on my first evening Phil was kindly producing pitchers of cocktail for us on the house - thanks Phil! Also Anica is a new employee and you would think she has been here for years, so welcoming! Love the rattan and the wallaby 

Social hour

Came here for the wildlife tour. Fabian led the tour and was a great guide. Fabian provided us with lots of information about the different animals we saw and also made sure we all felt comfortable with the opportunities to handle some of the animals. It was an enjoyable tour getting up close to some of Australia's incredible native animals.

It’s a very small wildlife park but very informative guide. Interactive - able to pat a wombat, koala, cockatoo and snake. Great value for $40. They also have free bird feeding at 4:15 and a $4 happy hour starting at 4pm.  So had some bubble s then fed some birds.

Great hostel for backpackers. Good nightlife and nice staff. Wildlife area close to the hostel to see koalas as well as a bird feeding show on every day which is brilliant. The hostel is located in horseshoe bay which is accessible by transport from Nelly bay very easily.

Great Hostel for backpackers! The hostel has a lot of activities on each day which makes it very easy to socialise. The staff were really friendly and helped us whenever we needed. 
They do bird feeding every day which has become a bit of an attraction on the island! It’s a little outside of the main horseshoe bay, but this suited us as we had transport😊 Overall, a great place for backpackers! 

Ps. Look out for the wild koalas!

Great place for backpackers

Best experience in an Australian hostel so far. Alyesha at reception gave me a free room upgrade from a six-bed dorm to a private double room just because, and I had the best three nights sleep in months. The staff are all very friendly and easy to talk to (special shout out to Max for keeping the bar open two hours later than usual without complaint), and socialising is easy with the events they put on in the evening (get there on Monday for the pool tournament, you won't regret it). Fantastic hostel. Someone buy Max a pint. Someone buy Alyesha two.

Best hostel experience so far

They have prettied up the place, with nice bathroom upgrades, and have put in glamping tents. Great relaxing undercover bar area, pool. A really great design. ***However, they must be short on staff, because the bathrooms are short of toilet paper, the women's bathroom sinks are clogged , and there is rubbish overflowing in a bin outside my campsite, with animals foraging through it, despite calling reception to tell them.

Great, really good... but need more employees to maintain the place.

I paid $71 for a powered site. It was clean, the slabs were level etc. The bathrooms for the ladies were clean enough, the hotwater and pressure of the showers was nice. It's very close to Horseshoe Bay. Just wasn't really vibing it with all the backpackers.
