3 star accommodation, but excellent. We had room 1 bedroom with queensize bed ensuite and doors leading to balcony, also lounge area with foldout b and doors to balcony. Bed was excellent, sofa bed was ok. Room cleanliness was excellent. View was lovely and only very short walk to centre of town

Great Hotel 

Just got back from a 3 day stay here . We had the soa room with the 4 poster bed it was lovely and very much in keeping with the hotels heritage . The staff are so friendly and welcoming ,we would recommend this as a place to stay and unwind in victor harbour . The food was delicious too . Would definitely come back  again .

Great location , friendly staff, great food lovely room .

Good location by the railway crossing so you can see Steam Ranger come into the station. Great food, good menu, great service, and an all-round lovely place to have a leisurely lunch. Large carpark at the side and back of the hotel.

Lunch for 5 of us.

We arrived at this hotel and booked in. Later we found that there was a problem with our booking. After speaking to Henry and Tristan the problem was solved and all was good. We then had dinner and wine at the restaurant and could not speak highly enough of all the staff. Great place to stay. Right on the water. Amazing service.

Amazing staff!

We stayed the night at the Anchorage and ate in the Bistro. The accommodation and dining were both excellent.
The owner and staff could not do enough for us. The food was tasty and well presented. All up this was a really nice stay and dining experience in a typical Australian pub. Big thank you to the owner and staff.

Really enjoyable stay and dining experience

Great food with good views. Loves the pate dish which came with a whole lot of extras which is rare. Perfect lunch dish! Others should learn… many pate dishes just come with that. This had quite a few condiments. Great building too and by the ocean.

Can I live here?

Although this hotel was unfortunately booked out late in the afternoon he kindly found us a room at the property down the road. Location, building and views are spectacular! 

Directly opposite the beach and walking distance to local attractions!

Customer service

Good evening meal of flathead chips and salad tasted fresh and beautifully cooked. Pleasant environment, whilst busy the staff were calm and engaging.
The weather was cold outside but inside was a pleasant temperature to take a coat off but not so hot as to have to take all the layers required for outside off. 
Have been before for lunch which we enjoyed so came again for dinner this time and enjoyed it too.

Good place for a Friday night meal

What a lovely hotel. Friendly staff and very accommodating. Our room, whilst a little small, was clean and an amazing balcony view. 
Private bathroom adjacent to the room, nice hot shower too! Dinner bought to our room, so we could enjoy the views of Victor Harbour.

Enjoyable night away

Loved my little room..Didn’t want to leave..I had a single room..was small but was enough for me..had my own ensuite inside the room..would stay again..I got an exceptional deal for the 2 nights and was more then happy..would go back again..
