We recently enjoyed a lovely stay here in a cottage.  The cottage was spotlessly clean and was well equipped for a self-contained stay.  Bed very comfortable and linen of good quality.  Excellent shower (love the excellent strong water flow!).  Looked like the cottage had been painted inside and out in the last 12 months so looked fresher than the pictures on the website.  The location is very quiet and a lovely view looking out over the lake.  We also enjoyed dinner at the Bermagui Beach Hotel which was about 10 minute drive away.  Fantastic peaceful location to enjoy some coastal walks around the area.  Well worth a drive to Tilba and visit to the Tilba Dairy shop - fantastic local cheese.

Very comfortable stay in cottage

Right on the lake with your own fireplace and picnic setting. We did not want to leave! Tracey in the office was lovely. Facilities were very clean. Awesome sunsets and just watching the birds on the lake was just lovely. Also pet friendly is a bonus.  Very highly recommended and just a few kms from Central Tilba and Bermagui. A favourite for sure.

Tranquility on the lake!

We travelled in a campervan and had a pitch by the shore of Wallaga Lake. The view was glorious, looking over the lake in one direction to woodland and in the other to Gulaga Mountain/Mount Dromedary, with ever-changing lights and colours.
There is a row of picnic tables and firepits along the shore, so plenty of opportunity for barbecues. 
For bird-watchers, there are pelicans, black swans, Little Pied Cormorants, Sulphur-Crested Cockatoos, galahs, masked lapwings (some of these will be commonplace to Australians, I realise, but a source of delight to foreign tourists like ourselves!)
The showers are clean and spacious but rather chilly (in July).
We were made very welcome by Tracey, the lady in charge, was kind and helpful.
There are pleasant walks (e.g. to Horse Rock and Dromedary Rock) in the immediate area, and it's a good base from which to visit Bermagui, Tilba and Bega.

Wonderful views by the lake

Stayed here and the lady that checked us in was lovely, helping us out with a good camp spot. Beautiful, right on the water. Amenities were clean and spacious. Enjoyed our stay, would recommend and would stay again.

Nice Caravan Park

Just spent the last two weeks camping on a lakeside site. We have camped here previously back in the 80’s, 90’s and 2018 but not since the park has been upgraded. Gotta say the improvements are great, new amenities and ensuite sites which were spotlessly clean. Tracey and her team of helpers were very accommodating to our needs, sites where maintained as soon as the site was vacated in time for new arrivals. Sites were very generous in size providing enough room for the van, awing and still able to park the car beside, still having heaps of room behind the van. Each site it’s own individual fire drum and hot plate. Even though the park was full most of the time it was still very quite. The views over the lake towards Mt Dromedary set the scene for some serious relaxing.

I didn't know the park was there. But Tracey ensured I will return!

Relaxing by the waters edge

We found the reception people extremely helpful and lovely.  We received an upgrade to a two bedroom cabin which overlooked the lake..spectacular! The cabin had everything we needed for us to enjoy a weekend away. The shower was great..so much water pressure! and beds comfortable.  The cleanliness of the cabin was top class...we will certainly be returning and have no qualms in recommending Regatta Point Holiday Park to anyone intending to visit the Bermagui area. Thanks for the great stay! 

Enjoyed our stay very much

We booked into Regatta Point Caravan Park for 5 nights, before heading further Northward for another 8 or 9 nights. 
We ended up cancelling our onward sojourn, and extended our stay at Regatta Point, not once but twice, and stayed two and a half weeks. 

The park, along with its cheerful and friendly resident managers, Sue & Colin (and their staff), made the decision a “no-brainer”. 

Great level sites right next to Wallaga Lake, each with their own firepit (wood can be purchased from the office - and they deliver !) and no need for any ground matting as each site has its own area of synthetic grass. 
A new ammenities block is just a short walk away. 

Very peaceful watching the lake area, with fish jumping, sea eagles soaring over the tree tops, and all manner of sea birds joining in the show. 

Highly recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed. 



R & R by the lake

We stayed there for two weeks and really enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly and very knowledgeable with things to do in the local area. We were even able to have a wood fire in small mobile fire pits available there. The individual camping areas are very generous in size with a variety of outlooks, at lakes edge or higher up with views. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing stay.

Great location with friendly staff

Unfortunately we were late for check in because Tony left his glasses at the servo. However, they accommodated by having a smooth after hours check in process. We were blown away by the scenery when we woke in the morning. 
Great spot for fishing (unless you’re Tony LOL). 
Friendly atmosphere and well worth the short drive out of town.
