A sudden decision for a break and not much else being available, we came upon this divine retreat. Amazing setting. Plenty of wildlife and nice and private chalets - there are 4 of them. Clean and well appointed. Breakfast is available to be ordered to your chalet. Nice gardens to walk around. A veggie patch to help yourself. 4km from Denmark town centre. Close to some beautiful wineries. Will certainly book again.

Bliss

We spent 4 nights here and enjoyed the comfortable spacious chalet as well as the beautiful gardens and panoramic view. Chalet was immaculately clean and equipped with even more than what we needed. Jody and Jeff are very helpful and pointed out to us all the local must-see attractions and restaurants.

Great getaway!

Cosy and well appointed self contained chalet.  Very peaceful setting with sweeping views.   Spa bath, gas heater (required in winter), and comfy couches & throw rugs. Perfect to settle in with a good book if the weather's dicey.
A short drive out of town and in a private, rural setting.  Lovely to stroll amongst gardens and check out the cattle and alpacas.

Breathtaking Views

We had a fantastic two night stay. Jeff and Jody were extremely welcoming and friendly. Situated on a incredible farm giving it a country feel, and every time we looked out the windows there was another animal or bird to look at or attempt to feed. We fed the alpacas one afternoon which was an experience.
Amazing views, peaceful, surreal, amongst nature, close to town. Beautiful cool breeze in the evenings and mornings, lovely verandah to sit at and sip coffee. 

We throughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again and recommend to everyone.

Was given the Mystique unit and WE LOVED IT !! 
It was lovely, spacious, homely, fully equipped kitchen, BBQ grill, lovely balcony, large rooms, XL bathrooms... everything was just great ! 
Best of all, peaceful and safe place. We love it so much.

Excellent experience at the Mystique

This was a tranquil, beautiful spot to base ourselves to explore Denmark, Albany and the southern WA area. The hosts were wonderful and feeding the alpacas was a real treat. Much nicer than a hotel stay.

Tranquil and beautiful

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights in July.  We were chasing a relaxing mid-week winter break and Celestine Retreat certainly delivered.  An absolutely stunning location with views to the inlet and very close to town, restaurants and wineries.  The chalet was just beautiful - quiet, comfortable, huge bathroom and great deck area to enjoy the views.  Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Beautiful location - wonderful stay!

Located above and slightly out of town, our chalet provided a broad view of the coastal area as far as the sea. Whether sitting inside out of the wind or on the balcony there was always something to see that pleased the soul.
Set on 30 acres provided plenty of opportunity to wander and explore and interact with the cattle and the alpacas. But our favourite spot was in the Garden Room cleverly designed and filled with a wide variety of plants and spots to sit out of the wind and enjoy the bird life.
One of the best equipped places we have ever stayed in Denmark. Especially enjoyed the clean barbecue and the spa.
Perfect location the enjoy the town and discover new places of interest. Much appreciated Jodie's knowledge of the area.

Peaceful Relaxing Romantic

We spent three nights there with our eldest son and his wife and the view from the chalet was great, the place was very quiet and we could see lots of birds and even a few kangaroos on our last morning. There were two bedrooms in the chalet with a shared bathroom (and toilet) in the middle. We did not find this design very convenient as you could hear the sliding doors whenever someone used the bathroom and you had to lock the door of the other bedroom to ensure privacy. The space was certainly optimised but we thought it would be good for a family with small children , not so good for two grown up couples.

This accommodation was unique in that you had your own individual cabin and views that were fabulous overlooking the hills and farmland down to the ocean.  While the place was immaculately clean I did have a major problem that the water coming out of all the taps was brown.  When I asked about it, I was told that the rain water is collected and used and since it comes in contact with leaves etc. the tannins leach into the water and turn it that color.  Well, I personally did not feel comfortable at all drinking the water, brushing my teeth or even washing my hair with it.  I wish I had known this and probably would have chosen somewhere else to stay.  I will say the owners were very nice and could not have been more welcoming.
