Beautiful location and great swimming beach across the road 
The view is spectacular and could see dolphins and whales most days 
We booked for 2 nights and added an extra night to enjoy the location at Smiths Beach. Upstairs apartment views are amazing 
Great walks accessible from the resort or a short drive to other beaches. The apartment (2 bedrooms) was spacious enough and clean. Shower and bathroom was the best. Deck had both chairs and day bed to relax 

Canal Rocks Resort - Amazing view and beautiful location

Great place to stay,  the room was comfortable and the facilities were fine.  Right on Smiths beach.  Good value for money very clean and tidy. Our apartment was on the ground floor (apartment 10) and had a reasonable view across to the ocean,  well tended  gardens accessed from the rear of the apartment.

Relaxing place to stay

Stayed with 2 friends at these apartments.  Had 2 bed apartment on top floor. Hard to beat the uninterrupted beach views mixed with perfect weather and very little wind. Very comfortable apartment but spent most of our time on the beach or on the balcony looking at the beach! Better views here than nearby 5 star resort. Access to beach out front and short stroll to resort restaurant if you can't be bothered cooking. The apartment is fully self contained and very comfortable with a big open plan living area and decent size bathroom. Very friendly staff on reception and housekeeper. The kids will love the kangaroos that come into the grounds at night. Nearby beach boardwalk is perfect for star gazing at night. Sooo Australian!

Terrific girls week, best beach 

By far the best location in Yallingup. We stayed in the 2 bed room executive apartment and the views were breathtaking. I truly loved the time spent there, everything was perfect and the ladies at the front desks are lovely 😊 will definitely be back. My toddler had a blast ❤️❤️

First time we have stayed here. Can recommend units that face the ocean. The units are very clean, spacious and comfortable. It included an outdoor table and chairs, plus two outdoor lounges. Beautiful grounds that with bbq’s and outdoor showers. 

Great Accommodation 

I found this place online as we wanted to stay in Yallingup but on the coast (and it’s a lot more reasonable priced than the resort next door plus this has the better views!)
My partner and myself stayed in Apartment 3 which was a 2 bedroom ocean front view with balcony. 
Very comfortable inside, not overly modern but had everything you need and would easily cater for another couple or children.
The view is the real standout and to be able to sit on your balcony and enjoy the people watching of the comings and going’s of Smiths Beach while sipping a glass of wine was perfect. 
Checking in was a breeze and there was no money taken against a credit card or anything like that.
Tips would be that if you did have small children a ground floor may be easier as there is grass outside those apartments so kids can play around. The grounds were very neat also. 
There is a midgie problem we were told but were given a citronella candle and the kitchen had some insect spray so we gave the balcony a good go over.
Also have found out that all the apartments are privately owned so unfortunately over time not all owners take great care with maintenance and updating as others, so check out each one online. But we lucked out with Apartment 3.
Honestly looking forward to returning and making this place an annual spot. 
You will love it and you can’t get much closer to the beach than that!

Birthday Getaway 

They might not look very special from the outside, but inside they are large, modern and very well appointed. One rather strange thing is that not all the windows have blinds fitted, so you do not have total privacy, particularly at night with the lights on.  

They have large terraces or balconies from which to soak up the view. And that view!! We found we could sit for hours watching the action around Smiths Beach. There were the surfers who would try and try again to “Catch a wave” and stand up on their boards, only to disappear in a cloud of white spray. Then at last they would be successful, riding the wave all the way onto the beach. We also watched a pod of dolphins slowly moving back and forth across the bay. If you want to enjoy the view to the full, bring a pair of binoculars.

That view!

We booked an upstairs 2 bed/2 bath apartment and it was perfect for two couples. Spacious, clean and well equipped, it had comfortable bedding and met all our expectations. The uninterrupted view across the ocean was truly spectacular. We watched dolphins swimming by from our balcony, and spotted kangaroos feeding on the grass behind the units. A walk along the coastal trail showcased the beauty of this area. Highly recommended!

Loved it!

We stayed in an upstairs apartment and were blown away by the view. The apartment itself was tidy and clean. It’s not super luxurious but hey who can argue with the location over the road from the sea. Better view than the super $$$$ apartments next door.

Killer view in the south west

Situation of apartments - stunning.  Right opposite the glorious beach - with its violent, crashing surf.  Only a few surfers around and about.  Our first time here and we will absolutely come again. 
After initially booking with Scoopon, excellent communication follow up from this place. Check in friendly and efficient and as per the Scoopon Deal - on arrival in our apartment we found a bottle of local wine and the biggest, most generous platter of goodies we have ever seen.  Apartment 11 spotless. We walked this morning to Yallingup along the beach and well marked trails through the National Park - coffee at Yallingup and then walked home.  Wonderful.  We used to love Rotto until it upmarketed (wishful thinking!!) itself.  Canal Rocks Smith's Beach is so much better and no ferry involved.  There is another apartment/resort block further along Smith's Beach Road - that looks more upmarket than this place - but this is the place with the views!  Not luxurious but homely, everything works and is well maintained.  Brilliant.
