Our second stay at Waterfall Cottages.  Love the peaceful surroundings, wildlife and birds.  The cottages are immaculate and equipped with everything for a relaxing stay.  The location is perfect, only a few minutes out of town.  Will be back!

Beautiful bush setting

Very well appointed architecturally designed cottages set amongst bushland in a lake setting. Birdlife abound and plentiful. Well priced, comfortable and clean, self catering. Barbecue, laundry and drier which was welcomed. We spent four days and completely unwound. The water is so soft to bathe in and drink. Well priced. Highly recommend. Felt generally Margaret River is so over rated, but this venue made. It so worthwhile. Thanks Sophie for your assistance. Much appreciated. 

The best accommodation in Margaret River

We stayed in a family cottage for 2 nights which was absolutely gorgeous! The property has lots of beautiful trees and native plantings surrounding the cottage making it feel very secluded. I was also amazed at how peaceful it was! The kitchen was well equipped, and the bed very comfortable. I loved watching all the different birds in the garden through the large windows and the fireplace was a bonus. Our whole experience from booking through to check out could not have been better as the place is run by the most friendly, helpful people you could ever meet. We had the most relaxing time here and will definitely return.

Peaceful, relaxing stay

Surrounded by nature in a peaceful environment. The cottage was lovely with a view down to the lake. Great cottage, nature, animals (saw ducks, kangaroos, and lizards around, drive slow), the cottage setup and the shower pressure. Not too far from town but far enough. 

Spacious, quiet and with a lovely view. 

Perfect Cottages, well appointed, clean and the right size for a couple. We had a long weekend at the cottage and it was great. Well priced as well.
We combined the stay with a day tour with McCloud Tours. Recommended.
On the way down we also found a gem, Mongrel Creek Wines. Awesome shed.

Great stay

My husband and I stayed 5 nights in a spa cottage no 11. The cottage was so cozy with a full glass view and amazing deck looking over the lake and gardens. Visited by birds and kangaroos every morning!
Has separate bedroom and bathroom, then open lounge with dining table and kitchen. Had all the facilities for self catering at nights after busy days wine tasting and exploring the region. No fire but had very efficient reverse cycle A/C which was needed as quite cool there in May! King size bed so comfortable.
Is about 5km out of town but in a gorgeous rural area! Was just lovely.
No mobile coverage but excellent wifi! So easy booking, check in and check out! Recommend this place entirely!

Lovely stay in a beautiful environment

We stayed for a week and had a great time. Great location close to beach, town and in the Forrest. Plenty of nature and animals everywhere.  We had a small apartment but the other larger ones look amazing. Great experience and would definitely return. 

Great hideaway

Omg. This place was so peaceful. 
The cottages are about 7 minutes drive from the shops in town. 
   I can’t vouch for the other chalets although they all looked very secluded and nice 
    We had chalet 10. And it was amazing! A big expanse of lawn with a green pond and towering trees backing it. 
   Kangaroos and their joeys eating on that grass. 
  It’s just A short walk to the bubbly waterfalls over the road 
  The chalet itself was lovely. Bed very comfy and large. Spa very relaxing. Very quiet. Birds landing on the railings of the balcony. Kitchen had a stove fridge dishwasher. Everything you need 
   Its the beginning of November and all the trees were flowering. It was a riot of colour. 
   We sat for hours on the balcony just watching the roos, checking out the colours of the flowers of the trees. Then some ducks waddle by. 
  I’ve found my forever home ❤️ we can’t wait to return 

Amazing!!!

We stayed at the cottages over the long weekend and it was just lovely , so peaceful and the cottage was really lovely and very clean and had every thing we needed 😃 we stayed in the spa cottage, all the cottages are positioned so they have privacy and we overlooked the water . Really lovely place and would stay again.

Beautiful place

Peaceful and tranquil accommodation in wooded location about 10 mins drive from Margaret River town Center. Well equipped, clean and tidy - everything you need for a self catering break. Beds and furniture are very comfortable but don’t rely heavily for super fast Wi-Fi or stable tv signals, especially in poor weather. Great location for walks and hikes.
