On a recent road trip we had planned stops across Europe from the UK. However we had nowhere to stay in Austria so at 5.45pm with just 15 minutes left before the advertised booking closure time of 6pm called and made a reservation. 
This lovely Austrian family run hotel/farm reassured us that a room was available for our family of five.. We arrived later that evening 8pm and wow we were blown away the place is amazing the family who own and run the hotel and the breakfast are absolutely amazing. Highly recommended. Helped us out of a pickle

This is a place, where the silence hurts your brain. Just lie on the bed under the 220 year old tree and watch the stars, play with the cute animals, go and take a tour or do nothing. Do nothing, this is the best...

Mystic place

The owners of this guesthouse on the farm do their utmost to make everything comfortable. There is B&B options , also a self catering apartment and a Glass enclosed Sleeper in Nature. Their service is good and the venue is excellent.

Real Postlmayr hospitality

This is really a place to stay if you need peace and tranquility. It is spacious and clean and a lot of effort has been put in to make the guests comfortable. The breakfast was well presented. There is even a glass enclosed sleeper some distance from the house with a hoy mattress for the nature lovers. I will definitely visit this guesthouse again.

Excellent Guesthouse

If you are lucky enough to stumble on this review (and the other one) do not hesitate on staying here. Everything said is true and the scenery and peacefulness, breathtaking.The only negative, is a place for guests to sit outside and have a glass of wine and enjoy. Breakfast can be arranged but a bit pricey by Canadian standards, so yes, there are places in Steyr and the drive into the town is as beautiful as your setting.
