We have been the guests of the Schedler family for very many years in the former Hotel and now the Valschena Appartements. We feel as though we have come home when we arrive here such is the warmth of our welcome. We stayed in Apartment C which is lovely, as are all the apartments with a fantastic view down the valley to the Mottakopf. The accommodation is super clean, comfortable, warm and of a very high standard. Breakfast rolls are provided and there are two shops in the village where you can get essential supplies. There is a good choice of restaurants and bars to enjoy an evening meal. A nice thing to do once a week is to get the Panoramabahn across to the Frood restaurant in the evening, the snowy scenery is magical. The Tourist Office organised many activities during the week for your enjoyment. The Guest Card, as well as giving a wide range of discounted, enables you to travel on the Regional trains and use the public transport network, so you can pop down to Bludenz for both visits, onward transport of a wide choice of food and drink (Spar, Lidl and Aldi). As well as the excellent work done by the Brandnertal Bergbahnen on the ski slopes, there are lovely, well marked walks to go on. We unhesitatingly recommend this lovely accommodation and, surprise, surprise, we have booked for 2025.

An excellent choice, highly recommended

Lovely accommodation for when visiting Brand and the surrounding area.
The apartment was very clean and comfortable, the amenities allow for full self catering if desired, but with the quality of the local restaurants you might not want to cook.
The staff are extremely helpful and attentive, adding to the nice atmosphere.
The apartments are very close to bus stops giving easy access to Burseberg and Bludenz down the valley and the Lünersee up the valley. 
I will definitely stay here again if I can. 

A wonderful location in Brand

I can't really say much more than my 2019 review other than it was great to get back to Brand and the Valschena this year. We cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough, when we come here, we come home. We wish Elmar and Gabrielle every happiness for a very successful new season.

Super as always

The new apartments Valschena now celebrate their fifth year of operation; we have stayed there since Day One and in the former Hotel Valschena. We cannot speak too highly of what excellent accommodation this is and the warm and friendly welcome we always receive from the Schedler family. Great attention to the environment has been paid in the construction of the new apartments and high quality self catering facilities are also provided, this includes the delivery to your door every morning of fresh breakfast rolls. The apartments have distant views of the Mottakopf mountain, a very nice start to the day - or at any time when you are sitting on the balcony. the excellent Brandnerhof Restaurant is located directly opposite or there other nice places to eat or drink in the village. The Dorfbahn cable car is a short walk away or in the winter season the regular ski bus stops right outside the Apartments. Highly recommended, quality accommodation.

Always welcomed and always excellent

Nice, modern and very clean apartment. Quiet and spacious rooms. Two good sized bathrooms (one with infra-red sauna) and a well equipped kitchen. Very friendly owners. Highly recommended. Beautiful surroundings and a balcony on the sunny side.

Four star apartments!!! Best view in town and the longest time sun in The Valley! 
Gabriele and Elmar are delightful hosts; the fresh rolls each morning a wonderful touch. Great that each apartment has a covered parking spot: no snow shoveling and scraping when we go anywhere. The village is walkable; ski bus stops at door. Great family ski resort!!!

Beautiful apartment, great views and comfort

We have been coming here for years when it was a family run hotel and we feel very lucky to have found it. This is still run by the same family but Gabriele and Elmar have now converted the hotel  to appartments and they have done a fabulous job.  Each appartment has an amazing view of the mountains from the balcony. The best view in the village and where better to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. Fabulous bathrooms with infra red cabins, comfy beds and well equipped kitchens. Fresh rolls are delivered each morning and Gabriele and Elmar always on hand to make you feel at home. This really is home from home for us and there is no place we would rather be. We heartily recommend eating in the Restaurant Brandnerhof across the road. This also belongs to the family as well and the food is OUTSTANDING so do not miss it!

Fabulous appartments

Amazing. From the view to each apartment having it's own infrared sauna and induction cook top; a lockable "shed" to put bikes, or ski gear in winter... Beds are SUPER COMFY; there is nothing I could have wished for in the kitchen. Anything that wasn't in my kitchen is available per request... Even potatoe  stomper! The owners are delightful and helpful, with giving guests their space. Fresh rolls are delivered every morning included. Delicious. 
It is a gem in the gem of Brand, a laid back, peaceful, incredibly beautiful little town. I am looking forward to coming regularly!!!
