We had a wonderful week here in August in a very comfortable, spacious and very well equipped apartment. Frau Klotz was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is in an incredible location, directly off the main high street, so just 2 mins walk to shops and cafes. The whole area is stunning with endless walking opportunities. We definitely need to come back as there is so much more to explore - and would definitely want to stay at the Jaegerheim apartments again!

Fantastic apartment in beautiful location

We have just had 4 nights at the Jagerheim and we cannot rate it highly enough. Excellent accommodation, very comfortable and extremely well decorated and equipped. We were in Erhwald for the Alpine walking and the Jagerheim was the perfect retreat after a hard days walking. We will return. 

Excellent retreat for the tired walker

The service is absolutely terrible. I booked a two bedroom apartment and upon my arrival, the landlady Ms. Klotz had the second bedroom locked and asked if I really needed to use it, presumably because we were only two adults. Of course I did! I was paying for it! The price she had quoted me and the deposit I had paid several months in advance was for a two bedroom! Once she unlocked the second bedroom, the bed was already made with linens, surprise. Was the point of this exercise just to save her cleaning an extra room when I left? Really bad service...

She also promised "internet in every apartment", on the website, in multiple e-mails she sent to me, and in response to my direct question in an e-mail "is there internet in the apartment?" However, it is not true and I believe she knew that. The internet did not work in the apartment AT ALL, not in any room, not on the balcony, not in my whole five days there. When I mentioned that it was not working on the first evening, she acted indignant, implied that it might be my computer, and told me to try again later. It NEVER WORKED in five days and I had two laptops and an ipod, so tried on multiple devices. I looked around the building on day two to see if there was a router nearby. I came to realize that the router was in her house next door. I ended up sitting on the steps near the front door of my building doing any surfing, there were no bench or chairs to sit on. I needed the internet for work but was out of luck, so I did the little I absolutely had to. Internet service was my main criteria for choosing this property, and it is also a higher price than some, but I was willing to pay it for the supposed service.

The last day I told Ms. Klotz that her signal was too weak and the router too far from my apartment (due to cement walls) since it was in her house (which she confirmed). I said that she needed another router in the building where the apartments are. She shrugged and said, yes, maybe.

One last thing--she spoke English to me on the last day regarding the internet, and read all my e-mails in English to her, but then refused to speak English to me the rest of the time. Great service.

Do yourself a favor and don't patronize this property--I find most Austrians are so hospitable and customer service oriented but not this pill who must have an unhappy life.
