Stayed here for 4 nights in March
Rooms were very clean, and everyone very friendly and helpful, plenty of wardrobe space
Basement had ski storage 
Located in centre of the village, and only a 10 min walk max to the ski lifts
Breakfast was good, standard continental affair
We would definitely stay there again if we returned to St Johann

The B&B is conveniently located and pleasant. The rooms are clean and cleaned daily with towels replaced etc. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are very decent, I loved the local bread. The place has a quirky vibe and funny ornaments.

Nice, clean, friendly

I have just returned from a 3 night break at the Pension Eppensteiner and thought it was a lovely place to stay.  The owner was outside when we arrived and took our cases and carried them up to our rooms for us.  He showed us the breakfast room, which has a great view of the Wilder Kaiser mountain.  The hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms were fine.  The bed was comfortable, there was a lovely hot shower, a table and chair, a flat screen tv and a big wardrobe.  My room had a lovely view of the Kitzbuhler Horn and ski slopes.  The breakfast had a very good selection, with cereals, juices, fresh fruit, fresh rolls, a selection of meats, cheese, pate, jams etc.   Boiled eggs were cooked to order and coffee was brewed fresh too.   I was able to store my skis and boots in the basement.
The hotel is very close to the centre of St Johann, only a few minutes to get anywhere in the centre.  There are a couple of supermarkets and several shops.  The ski slope was about a 10 minute walk.
I would definitely recommend the accommodation and would be happy to return if I stay in St Johann again.

Lovely place to stay

rooms clean ,warm and facilities more than adequate,plenty of hot water. we found our hosts very welcoming, the hotel is conveniently situated in St johann ,which has a pretty town centre ,skiing in st johann is limited but there are plenty of other options especially if you have a car! Breakfast was nice and we appreciated the buffet style, would have been nice if there had been a slight alteration on the choice of breads/cheese /meat. .good allergen labelling v helpful .

Pension Eppensteiner is centrally located in St Johann that is a small town. From St Johann you can take the train to Kitzbuhl (and save on accommodation cost).
The pension has a Danish speaking owner that is service oriented and egor to help. The pension has an own parking space in from of the hotel. Coffee is offered for free and there are a fridge with beer and wine that could be purchased to very reasonable prices. Breakfast is varied and give you a good start of the day.
