Came here for anniversary dinner and drinks...

Me and my husband had an amazing time, staff at the Fera restaurant where excellent and food was excellent.

We The Fumoir bar was also very nice staff and cocktails were very good. 


Excellent 

This is a simple non nonsense hotel and one should not expect a lot of comfort. The building is rather old and the rooms can either be reached via a very steep staircase or a rather small elevator which is not recommended for claustrophobic persons. There is a slight odor of mildew in the interior of the staircase and the floors leading to the rooms.
The room we had was not too spacious but tidy and quiet. The staff were very friendly and proficient and the breakfast was excellent, given the fact that it was even included in the hotel rate. Overall we paid less for two nights than we would have paid elsewhere in town for a single night.

If you are here or a short stay and intend to do some sightseeing and not to stay in the room all day, it's a recommendable option. If you want more comfort, pay more and go elsewhere. 

Good value for the price 

Stayed here for one night , really small lift , room was small but ok , got a smell of Chinese food that tends
To linger in the air , breakfast was ok , overall for the money not bad .  We only really used it just for sleeping.


Ok for a night 

Stayed at this hotel for one night ,Thankfully.cold welcome room smallest we have ever stayed in the smell was awful throughtout the hotel, breakfast would have been ok if not for the smell parking a long walk

WONT STAY AGAIN

We had booked for a family room in advance. When we got there, the manageress insisted on passport and payment up front- we asked to see the room first. The stairs were lethal - spiral, very narrow and steep. The room was on the fourth floor - it was cold, damp and dismal. There was not enough bedding either. The children were put in an adjoining room in a double bed- we had specifically asked for single.

When we explained to the management that we were not happy with the standard of the room, they were unhelpful. It seemed that as they had got their money (payment was guaranteed when we made the booking with booking.com), they weren't bothered about whether or not we were satisfied. They refused to help. As we were on a family holiday and staying in this hotel would have spoilt our trip, we went elsewhere.

Terrible

No Friendly welcome & barely a grunt on leaving,Breakfast is a plate of grease with thin bacon and a mishmash of egg .Continental looked better but uncovered and had flies on it so not appealing.I was charged 10euros to park, only to find carpark locked.I parked elsewhere ,owners were very rude and would not refund fee.Rooms not up to much,cans in mini bar were rusted. toilet uncomfortable to use,very weird set up.All rooms noisy from about 5am as the trams shake the building,They have a lift but only one very slim person at the time,and be carefull on the stairs very tight and steep
