We were able to get checked in right away (though we arrived earlier than expected),In the midst of the hottest dry season in anyone's memory, we were so grateful to have air conditioning available.  Most of our locations did not... because Belize- usually not needed.
Our host, Nate, was awesome and even had some thoughtful "extras" arranged!  Also very accomodating of our unusual schedule, and gave us some early breakfast for the road (fresh fruit- so delicious!)
The swimming hole was enjoyed by my family while I napped in the cool room!  My kiddos were afraid of leeches (thanks, Dad!🙄)- there were none!  So many creeks were dry while we were visiting, so having a swimming hole with water was a huge plus! Also, there were Howler monkeys spotted... which was quite the treat!
Our room fit all 5 of us comfortably, parking was available, close, and free!
The property was easy to find and felt very secure and safe for us.
The location was a quick drive into PG- and there was a really nice restaurant/bar (Jungle View) across the way.
We highly recommend Creekside Oasis for families, also a quiet and romantic spot for couples.  Would stay again- the grounds are beautiful and the room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was so good!

Very Family Friendly

We have just returned from a three-night visit at Chaab'il B'e where we stayed in one of the thatched roof casitas in the beautiful garden of the property.  Our room had a comfortable queen bed as well as a set of bunkbeds, both draped with mosquito netting---though we never noticed any insects.  Despite the heat, the ceiling and floor fans kept us comfortable--after all, the Mayans designed these structures to tolerate  the heat.  At night we fell asleep listening to sounds of the jungle, and we were fortunate enough to be awakened to howler monkeys nearby.  Sheila is an amazing cook, and our meals were extraordinary.  Good coffee greeted us each morning, and breakfast began with a lavish display of fresh fruits and included abundant pancakes, eggs, waffles, and beans.  For dinner we enjoyed fresh salads, soup, perfectly roasted chicken, pureed cauliflower, and a pasta and vegetable dish.  Dessert was copious quantities of mango crumble with ice cream.  Sheila and Rusty are friendly and welcoming, eager to share their knowledge of the birds and all of nature that inhabit their property.  We are most grateful for our time spent at their home.

Warm and knowledgeable hosts

Highly recommended. Amazing location, food and beautiful facilities. Shelia is an amazing cook, everything we had was fantastic. The location is beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed the trails and wildlife. Howler monkeys were fun. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. It made a great home base for adventures or a quite rest day. 

Excellent home base in Belize. 

This property is clean and well-kept with many well-maintained trails through the jungle for bird watching or fun, also has a great swimming hole.  The room was clean spacious and well lit.
 The hosts were extremely helpful in recommending and scheduling both cocoa and snorkeling tours, great restaurants and just neat stuff to check out in the area.
 Sheila pointed out several different bird species that we would have missed.  
This place is my favorite of the 5 we stayed in all over Belize both in the jungle and on the beach.

Wonderful private place.

On a regular basis, I travel to Belize with service groups. Chaab'il B'e has become a favorite destination of ours. Sheila and Rusty are very accommodating hosts who treat guests like family. The setting is peaceful and beautiful, with gorgeous foliage, a delightful swimming hole, rainforest trails, and plenty of bird sightings. Sheila's meals are exceptional!

Beautiful, clean lodge with friendly hosts and delicious meals!

It was a great experience staying at the Chablis be Lodge. The accommodations were good with hot showers and we had AC in our rooms.  The breakfasts and dinners  were to die for prepared by the owner herself.  The hospitality and views were fantastic. Will definitely be back to Chablis Be Lodge!

Easily Accessible, Group Travel Eco Experience!

Sheila and Rusty have made this place an absolute gem. The beauty of the gardens and swimming hole on Jacinto Creek are complemented by understated comfort in the traditionally built casitas. Breakfasts on the upper floor are a feast for the senses, with tropical fruit, good coffee and a daily surprise involving eggs accompanied by hummingbirds at eye level outside the screens and howler monkeys booming in the background. Look out of the bathroom window early in the day to catch the agoutis foraging for fruit at the jungle's edge, and entrancing bats hooking onto the mesh screens for a day's rest after insect-hunting all night. Birding is the particular speciality here, with over 220 species recorded on the lodge property. It's almost difficult to tear yourself away to enjoy all the other opportunities available in southern Belize, but you should, and the owners will arrange for expert guides to make sure that you enjoy birding, visiting ruins, jungle trekking, waterfalls, and if you really have time left, the coast. 

Biodiversity, brilliant breakfasts and bathroom buddies

Stayed here for 6 nights.  Grounds were beautiful.  Sets off the road which helped to create a quiet and serene setting.  Breakfast and dinner were delicious.  The owners, Sheila and Rusty were beyond hospitable.  They were a wealth of knowledge regarding the people and culture of the surrounding area.  I felt most welcomed.  Would not hesitate to return again.

Beautiful place of serenity

Incredible hospitality and a beautiful piece of property. I came here on a school trip this past January and it was fantastic. The lodging is very comfortable and clean. Food is fantastic as we were served different types of meals from the different ethnic backgrounds in Belize. The area itself is hidden gem if your looking for a great place in the tropics. Overall, a fantastic stay and everyone in our group loved it. You will experience animals on the property and they make noise but it is five time better than hearing horns and sirens like you would hear in a crowded city.

Home Away from Home

Recently spent several days at this wonderful place. The b&b is clean and comfortable. The people who run it made us feel right at home. A special call out for Antonio who was especially helpful with making sure we had everything we needed. A nice fresh breakfast every morning on the balcony patio.a beautiful ocean breeze being so close to beach.
