This was a wonderful resort. Very close to the restaurants and attractions of San Ignacio as well as close to ruins and the Guatemalan border. They booked two tours for us and both of them were great. We were there during the off season and had the resort to ourselves. Take time to enjoy the infinity pool when you visit.

The perfect place to relax on your Belizean vacation!

This resort was everything we needed. Clean, calm and in the best location, The staff was super friendly and helpful not to mention patient. It was easy to take tours from this location as pick up was always offered and the pool area was relaxing after our long days of exploring, The food was also delicious and theres something for everyone, not to mention the yummy cocktails. Youll find everything you need here and we highly recommend it.

"Just Beautiful"

We stayed in villa #1 and the room was so amazing and comfortable. We woke up to Birds singing and ordered food to our room, food was exceptional. We had amazing service the waiter's were so nice along with the rest of the staff I would definitely recommend you stay at cassia Hill we will definitely come back and stay longer

We need to come back

Cassia Hill is such a beautiful Resort surrounded by nature its so open that it is so refreshising,hearing the birds at sunrise and seeing the foxes at night amazing  the staff so friendly, respectable they made us feel very comfortable. Big thumbs up for the food so delicious no complain at all. The villas are so comfortable and relaxing no noise but plenty of views,we will definitely be staying there again soon.

Nature at its best

Cassia Hill Resort is a beautiful, peaceful property with very clean individual cabanas. The air conditioning and WiFi worked great. The staff is very helpful, sweet, and friendly. We enjoyed breakfasts there each morning before heading out for our day’s adventures. Dinner menu is very limited and a bit on the high side, so we only ate there the first night, but it was tasty. The bartender prepared a fun drink of the day each evening, and she is very knowledgeable about the area. The swimming pool is lovely and the area around it very well maintained. We would stay again!

Very pleasant stay

I wanted to love this place and to a certain extent did, but improvements are needed. The toilet is inadequate; you need to flush at least three times and even then it might not flush.When we arrived the air conditioner did to work and we had to move to another room. The meals in the restaurant are good, but take a very long time to get. The town of San Ignacio has a wonderful vibe and is only a short taxi ride away, so I suggest if you stay here you visit the great restaurants there.

Not Ready for Prime Time

Stay here for two days recently ..the grounds were spacious  the pool was nice and the service and menue selection and food was certainly ok..but the lay out ..i.e. finding our cabin was sometimes difficult at night as little to no cueing/way finding..and the cabins were ok but nothing spectacular

Certainly not posh..but ok

We visited the property as part of a escorted tour.
The parking lot is composed of loose stones, which made rolling luggage and footing difficult.

The long paths to the individual dwellings has virtually no lighting, which makes walking on the uneven path difficult at night.

The water in the shower never became hot, even after allowing a considerable time.

Three wall did not have glass windows, just screens, covered by adjustable wooden privacy panels. As such the A/C was not effective.

Poor A/C no hot water

The hotel is not near anything.  If you want to go in town, you will need a taxi.  The ground itself is pretty with individual bungalow dotted the 22 acres.  There are 6 units that have been remodeled and looked pretty comfy.  Our bungalow though was all dark wood, like a rustic cabin without the rustic charm.  Very basic cabin with erratic WIFI and TV.  Water pressure was low and some cabins did not have hot water for shower.

The infinity pool was nice.  The restaurant was pretty small with friendly staff.  Food was not very good.  We had chicken kebabs and was dry.  chicken fajitas was just ok.  You have to preorder your food in advance.

Nice ground, nice pool but...

The hotel room and bathroom are spacious, but everything is a little tired. The dinner in the restaurant was very average or below. The chicken kabab was very dry and not tasty. The cocktails are very watered down. He made a double with 3 ounces of rum, and nobody could taste any alcohol. Very weird. The pool is not heated, so the water is on the cooler side.
