Great location in Vila dos Remedios, within walking distance to restaurants, markets and the beaches of Cachorro, Meio and Conceição. They offer breakfast. Furthermore, they offer tours on the island.

Great location

The pousada is in the middle of Vilas dos Remédios, Fernando de Noronha's downtown. It's a cheap one (for local standards), with excellent cost vs benefit. The pousada is going through renovations now, so the rooms are new, with air conditioner, flat screen TV and a coffee maker (like nespresso). The beds are very nice and the room is cleaned everyday. The staff is great. One day I left my tenis shoes wet in the bathroom, when I arrived at the end of the day, the tenis was warm and dry, the maid came to tell me they put it in the sun to dry for me, that's so unusually nice! They make all they can to make you feel at home. Cris, the owner is a sweetheart, she made us feel so welcome. She gave us the best advices, scheduled a buggy for us and became our friend! I'm definitely coming back many times. And I'm sure it will be a lot better the next time with all renovations she is making! Cris, I wish you all the best! Pousada Golfinhos is the best in the island! Just one observation: it's common on the island that the pousadas don't have a front desk or anyone in the main entrance mostly of the day. The pousada is always open, but don't worry, the island is super safe, so there's no problem with this. If you need anyone just ring the bell in the front door that they come to talk to you. They are always there for you.

Comfortable with excellent location 

Fernando de Noronha is a very expensive place to stay.  You can easily pay upward of 700 Reais a night for an averagely nice place.  Compared to this, Pousada Golfinho works out as fabulously good value.  The room is clean and the owner is very friendly and helpful.   The room is a little shabby round the edges and a little dark but who spends much time in their room when you are on such a beautiful island.  You don't get breakfast but there is a shared kitchen which can save you a lot of cash also.

Very good value

My wife and I moved to this pousada after a horrendous experience at Pousada Guilherme.  Moniqui was very kind and hospitable and helped us to maximise our enjoyment of the island.  The house is in a great location near the main town, though you're best served if you have a buggy or motorcycle/scooter to help you get around the island.  Only compliant was that our room was near the front of the house, so the cars passing by woke us up quite early.

Very nice place

I stayed here recently with my girlfriend and it's a disaster. The lady that works there is a doll, Raquel. But she has too much on her plate. Anyway, they are conartists. Photos are inaccurate. I fell down the steps that were badly built and when we turned on the water, we felt electricity. We left halfway through our stay and they still haven't given us our money back. Disaster. We might sue them and we're definitely reporting them to the local travel board.

Horrible. Avoid at all costs

We have been there during a long Brazilian week end. The pousada is well located, in the center of the village, accessible to most of the activities. Like most of the pousada in Noronha, it is very expensive for what you get. 

But there are a lot of things we didn`t like : 
On the site it appears as "beach front" which is not true. 
There is no transfer from the airport, oh well, actually there is one arranged by Noronha Tours but they only take you back if you book a tour with them.
The hotel is extremely noisy. Since everyone (not us) is using a buggy, you feel like sleeping next to an highway. 
The breakfast is appalling, juices are tasteless, there is a misery of choice... it is just unacceptable especially when you compare to the other pousadas. 
The worse is the service, when on the first day I went for a run at 7:00am i specifically informed the person at breakfast we would have breakfast at 8:30 (t opens until 9:30), we had no room to sit, all tables were dirty with cups and plates, no hot water, no product  left... and when I complained, the person made me look like an idiot who like to complain.
