I'm brazilian and went on vacation to Brazil with my English friends and visited the Pantanal. The hostel is excellent, the rooms are clean and airy. The staff were attentive and polite. They all made efforts to speak English with my "gringo" friends. The culinary is local, it doesn't disappoint. Have you ever tried "Piranha soup"? Delicious. But the best thing was to watch the sunrise and sunset on the riverbank. Priceless. BTW, we got lucky, air conditioning works (city is really hot for europeans and many others places visited didn't work properly) and we could see some wildlife in the jungle. We had fun. I recommend it.

The pousada is beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable, the meals are very good. Besides the flora (trees, orchids), the fauna is enchanting: birds above all. Besides that the river is at your feet for a dive, or fishing, or just admiring. The owner is improving the structure and he, himself, is a plus for the visitors.

A great place to stay in the heart of Pantanal

The "pousada" is a great place to relax and be in fully touch with nature. The host (Marco)  makes you feel completely at home and the food, Oh My God, perfect! The rooms are quite comfortable. Spent 4 days there and wish I will have the opportunity to return in the near future!!!

Spent a week at Pousada Pantanero and enjoyed our stay. Fantastic location, all the comforts of home! comfortable bed. Very charming and original place.
Charming host, personalized service, very comfortable room, comfortable bed with box spring and Ralph Lauren sheets and towels, delicious food with several choices, and reasonable cost. Highly recommend for a unique and pampered guest experience.

Charming, original and comfortable in the heart of pantanal.

Nice place, near the city of Cuiaba, through a paved road almost till the hotel. This place is very cozy and lays next to the river Mutum. By the end of the afternoon, it is very nice to drink a beer looking at sunset. The owners are present and the service is very special. We took a boat tour ( pay by the day) to the Sia MARIANA Bay, went fishing for 3 hours, and visited some places where we could swim in the river. Lots of alligators 
in some places, but since there were lots of people in the water, we decided to swim as well. The good point about fishing is that their kitchen will prepare whatever you catch and serve at dinner.The food is delicious. Dinner is served@ outside area, under a mango tree, with beautiful sky full of stars. The kitchen besides the chef , is driven by the family members. the deserts are just wonderful. anyways , great way to visit Pantanal in BRASIL . I totally recommended
