Perfect location, walking distance  to shops and restaurants but 
 away from the noise and hustle and bustle.  The common areas access beach and service of chairs and umbrellas on the beach excellent.  Also, excellent breakfast included and the restaurant is very good if you don’t want to go out to eat. Grounds are clean, rooms comfortable, and best of all the staff is fantastic!!  We felt right at home.  I forgot my bikini and wrap on a chair outside when we left but I was able to return days later and they had it for me!  Highly recommend this pousada!

Best deal in town!!

I can’t imagine a better place to stay in the area.  The grounds are beautiful, the beachfront location is quiet compared to places in town and the service was so friendly!  We stayed in suite 101, a ground floor corner unit with an L shaped balcony with hammocks.  The bed was comfortable and the a/c was strong.  The bathroom had a large walk-in shower and a soaker tub.  The breakfast was very good and they will prepare you eggs, fried cheese or tapioca crepes to order.  The location is also great, a 5 min walk to the town center or to boat/snorkel rentals for the reefs.  There a surfing school next to the resort that we took advantage of as well! 

Great pousada in Porto de Galinhas

We stayed at pousada Canto do Porto for 3 nights in room 101. Set in an idyllic location amongst manicured gardens right on the beach in Porto de Galinhas - could not ask for much more. The centre of town where all the restaurants and nightlife is a short 7 - 10 minute walk. Walked to and from town each night and felt safe. Pousada is located right on a long stretch of beach but just outside the main beach area of Porto which is a real bonus. Had its own chairs and umbrellas for guest use. Beach bar service very good and great caipirinhas at a good price. Check in was quick and staff lovely and helpful. Our room was amazing with a comfortable bed. Located at the front of the property facing the beach it had a hammock and two chairs and a small table to relax around. Room was large with very comfortable bed and efficient air conditioner and mini bar. Room also contained a small jacuzzi which was lovely. Room provided a lovely sea breeze at night so we left the shutters open - did not experience problems with mozzies when we did this. Had lunch in the restaurant on the day of arrival.  Was lovely, full of flavour and good sized servings. Breakfast was served inn the same building. Also was very good with good variety of things to have. Could get tapioca cooked as well. WIFI connection was consistent and speed was good. Our friends stayed in 102 which was also lovely but offered only partial views of the beach. Definitely would stay here again. Was a hidden paradise.

Idyllic location

Excellent choice in Porto de Galinhas. Pousada is located about 7-8 min walk from the center of Porto so very easy to get to and from. During the day, we walked along the beach to catch the small boats that take you to the tide pools. During the night, we walked on the streets to get to dinner. Seemed safe though there was a part of the walk that was pretty poorly lit. Because it's a short walk from the town center, the beach is not as crowded so the hotel is basically able to have a spot of the beach with only its chairs and umbrellas. 

Room was very very comfortable (best sleep we got during our trip to Brazil) and clean. Ours had a beautiful view. The whole place is meticulously taken care of and clean. Food on the beach was excellent.

The only cons that I can think of are: breakfast was good but not great. Some of the staff like the beach waiter were rude and seemed to be unhappy to be serving you. 

Great option in Porto 

Super place. Everything was in hood order. Walking distance to the small city, with many Good restaurants etc. Pousada was more or less, at the beach, only few seconds away. We will for sure be back.

Excellent beach hotel! (Pousada) I've been up and down the coast of Brazil and this is one of the best spots to visit. Porto is a great little beach town with plenty of good places to eat. This hotel is close enough to the center of the town that everything is in walking distance.

The hotel rooms are small but comfortable. Plenty of storage, a safe to lock things up, good air conditioning, a frig in the room, and the bed is comfortable. There is a small porch with a bit of a sea view dependent where you are located. The better rooms are on the second floor, more sea breeze and when I return I'll ask for room 201. It's a bit more expensive but worth it for more porch space and a great view of the ocean.

I speak a little Portuguese, but you could manage here without it.. You can book by email, using translator. They booked without a deposit! They may even arrange transport from Recife (150$R)... you don't need a car once here.

The staff is very sweet and accommodating. There is a grocery store very close by. 

Oh...and breakfast is included!

 I only wish it was easier to get here from the states!

Great location!

Very good!Very nice  staff, and reasonable prices. Breakfast is very good , but  the croissant is not. Try the local fruits and juices , cakes , eggs ,and delicious tapioca !Great location for children and elderly !Just five minutes walking to dowtown
