we enjoyed the stay in Aspen and the New years eve. the location is amazing, very close to the Gondola lift, staff is friendly and effective. Breakfast is OK, there is enough parking place for the cars. Wifi fast. Spa is OK, but small, excellent sleep quality

excellent location, friendly staff, good prices

Booked the hotel through the booking site. The location is very good and also the basic accommodation. Don/t expect luxury, it is far from it, but it can offer a home atmosphere. 
The pool is quite cold, so no swimming, but our two-bedroom apartment was hot enough that we could relax in t-shirts and sweatpants. I suggest you bring your slippers.
Also, the internet is free but a scarce commodity in the rooms, so either bring your entertainment downloaded, or share the lobby with kids playing games on their phones and tablets. The breakfast was not worth for the price we had to additionally pay, but we may be a bit spoiled - up to you to decide.We preferred a quick breakfast in the room. Kitchen is well equipped like on some photos shared here. The beds are of reasonable quality and sleep was not bad. For us the biggest asset of this property was ease of access to slopes (Across the parking and up a bit et voila) even with two small kids carrying their own equipment and walking in ski boots I didn't get too many complaints. It is close enough to cafes and restaurants for a short walk, but far enough to be quiet. Free parking is also available.
If they would fix the pool temperature, improve wifi and food, this would be a deal maker for 5. Even like this, price/quality ratio is decent.
Staff are friendly, and ski room is nice and heated which was really useful.

Reasonable value

So noisy !!!! So much noise coming from the road from about 6am, bin trucks, people staying above up early stomping about in heavy boots. Struggled to get a good nights sleep. Food was not to my taste, some very odd things on offer and always lukewarm. Shower in room leaked causing floods in bathroom every time we used it. Cooking facilities but no crockery etc. ? On a plus side the rooms were warm and staff all very friendly.

Too noisy

Negative: Kitchen in the rooms, but no dishes; Dust everywhere

Positive: Friendly and communicative staff
Negative: Bad dinning, bad food


Not so good experience

Don’t stay. 

Other guest smoking in the corridor and rooms. So everywhere smelt of cigarettes.

The kitchen had no plates, pans or cutlery. So no point In having that area.

The bed mattress cover didn’t go over the bed so most nights you would wake up on the plain mattress.

There was also drilling and moving at 10pm which was strange.

Wouldn’t recommend. Spend the extra few bucks and get a nicer place.

Don’t stay

The hotel rooms were big but that’s the only positive.

We stayed for 4 nights and we never got our sheets or towels changed , they only emptied our trash bin twice. 

The walls were dirty and and the water pressure was very low, to the point where we couldn’t use the bathroom. 

In our staying breakfast and dinner was included but we only could eat breakfast because dinner contained as a first plate a local soup ( which I liked ) but it was the same first dish for 4 days and the second dish was also a dish from they local cuisine but honestly I hated it. I don’t know if I’m just too picky but I genuinely couldn’t eat a single bite. The flavors were very strong ( in a bad way ) and I just think that it was a bad idea adding dishes only from local cuisine and not some basic dishes (such as chicken and fries ) because not everyone has the same taste. 
 
Overall we enjoyed bansko but I don’t think I will come back again in ASPEN

Disappointed

The hotel was obviously built with a good ideea in mind, and the location is perfect. Unfortunately, you can really see that it was not taken care of. There were no window shades in our bedroom, there was no double bed, just two twins put togheter, the water that came out of the fosset was so hot you would burn yourself. The kitchen is absolutely useless as there is nothing than 4 glasses inside, not even a garbage can. Breakfast is very poor.

In dire need of maintenance

In first option looks perfect but is NOT. So BAD cleaning, they didn’t come to clean the room everyday and when we asked for, they said yes okay and nobody comes to prepared it. Not good English speaker , the breakfast so empty, in the bathroom the toilet wiggled,  we asked for towel and also nothing happens. Generally it was a bad experience of hotel and only for two stars worths nothing else….!!

Hard awful days

We stayed there for five days. In apartments that dont had any kitchen appliances, only two glasses. We also had breakfast and dinner included in the price. But it was not worth it at all. The food choice was poor and they did not refill the food once it was finished.
The dinner was served from 18 till 20 and if you arrive late you won't find any meat or salad. Just french fries, boiled potatoes and rice. The stuff was rude and don't even bother to refill the food and they saw that more people are coming to eat. This hotel made our stay very bad.
Pool water was cold and there was no shuttle bus to the gondola. Their excuses were that the gondola is very near but when you walk with the skii on you its really hard and exhausting.
The other hotels near Aparthotel Aspen offered shuttle bus.
I have more bad things to say, but they are not worth it the time. I don't recommend this hotel. Not worth the money 

The most horrible hotel in all Bansko

Meals are awful. They dont event write is it on the food( meat ?chicken?beef ?) İf you go to dinner late, you May not find anything to eat because they dont put replacements. İf its finished, they tell you to pick something else. They dont have any spoon / fork inside the rooms, when you take shower, bathroom leaks. They change towels every 3 days . Location is good.
