It is so nice to see my hometown in Tripadvisor!

First things first, I am sorry that sometimes the staff don't speak the language. In the defence of weddings - this is one of the most popular places in town which makes it an attractive location for weddings and other celebratory matters - my husband and I got married in England, but celebrated with my Bulgarian family at this hotel (but in the restaurant area) and we specifically requested the restaurant/bar to be reserved for us, which is a common thing in Bulgaria.

The waiting staff were very friendly, we were treated kindly and a lot of special requests from a lot of guests were taken very kindly and seriously. The food was amazing, typical from the region and the restaurant even provides for entertainment for children.

I guess it must be a bit more difficult for people who do not speak the language, but luckily that was not the case for us.

The prices are reasonable even for Bulgarian standards, and with it being in the nice park of Karnobat ensures for a quiet and relaxing environment.

Great place in Karnobat

Staff were very helpful listened to what we wanted as we were trying to say in a mix of Bulgarian and English.  Food all came together for all members of the party. Unlike other resturants when it all comes out at different times. Food was fresh and tasty and of a good sized portion. 

Great food

First impression was very bad on the phone when we made the reservation. We spoke with the boss and he was rude, judgemental and very unwelcoming. Thing is we had no real choice as we had to spend the night in a place where they would accept us with a dog and this one was the one. Apart from that guy and the first impression it was so pleasant that we actually stayed another night. Park is great, food is pretty fine and there are things to look at around. There is like a free small zoo in the park, right next to the hotel. It's a place where most of the big things in the city are happening. When we got there, there was a 50th birthday celebration with a lot of guests. It was noisy, but we were so tired ...didn't really bother us. Rooms are very big for the prices and starts this hotel has.

This hotel is situated right on the edge of an attractive park, a few minutes walk from the town. A smart modern hotel, very clean and comfortable. The staff were not over friendly but nor were they unfriendly. They just did their jobs. 
We asked about using the spa but all that we could use was a sauna which we would have to wait for. We decided against it.
We slept well and had a good breakfast.
Having seen the other hotels in the town, this was far superior.

Nice hotel on edge of park

Will not stay here again!! 
The receptionist at the hotel made no effort to make us feel welcome. There was a language barrier which we attempted to overcome and in return she shrugged her shoulders and looked completely uninterested. When we asked where the bar was we were told there was a wedding on and we could not get a drink and the same applied to the dining area. We spent the night sitting in our room with a bottle of wine from the local supermarket.
