Impressed by my huge superior double room with shower room.  Hotel within easy reach of central Siem Reap although a taxi/tuk-tuk is safer at nightime for single and female guests.

Phanny, the daytime staff member, was very welcoming, helpful and looked out for tourist's very best interests. She would be a loss to Alliance Villa if they did not retain her.

My Angkor guide and tuk-tuk service was arranged by the villa. They organised good, experienced and reliable local people.  I'd recommend getting the hotel staff to book your Angkor visits.  It can be great value and cost-effective.
The complementary airport collection was a very pleasant feature of the stay.

I am not accustomed to selecting or attending breakfast. It was a selection of a food options 1 to 5.  It is a good start to sightseeing excursions.

I'd stay again if I return to Siem Reap.

Quality hotel close to the action

Choosing to say at Alliance Villa was one of the best decisions I made in planning my trip. Reception was very friendly and did everything possible to make sure I was comfortable and that I was enjoying my time in Siem Reap. They went above and beyond to help arrange tours and when it was time to leave helped my arrange transportation to my next destination, even though I waited until the night before to ask. 

Breakfast was very nice, with several choices, served in a large covered seating area out front. The room itself was very spacious and had a nice balcony overlooking the garden, complete with orchids. A great value for the price. 

The location couldn't have been better - it was close enough to walk to Pub Street and the night markets, while still being quiet at night. They arranged for airport pickup for my midnight arrival, so finding the place wasn't difficult. 

Overall I would highly recommend Alliance Villa and I would be happy to stay there again. 

A gem - would stay again! 

Large room on second floor with balcony very comfortable, fresh towels each day. Friendly reception, reasonably good breakfast (but lots of options nearby) but bring cash to pay as credit card machine may not work. On a quiet street only 5 mins from the Night Market. Really enjoyed my stay here.

Great value, great location

I stayed here in Nov 2016, it was quite quiet at the hotel. Did not see many guests.
Tucked away in a side street, its not the best lit street, but it also wasn't unsafe.
If you want a nice place to stay close to the center, then this will do.

Pros:
- Walking distance to the main areas like Pub street and Night market
- They will make your breakfast to a take away lunch if you need it for Angkor Wat tour.
- My room was massive, think i got upgraded.
- Nice reception people

Cons:
- Had some towels with a foul smell.
- My bath tub was very slow to drain, so will have a level of water after a shower, I told reception, but nothing was done.

Nice hotel close to centre

Well, I booked Alliance Villa for three nights directly by contacting the Hotel itself. I expected it to be much better but didn't turn out that good as expected it to be. Mind you I did not have much expectations but still, there was unfair trade practice in dealings which was disappointing. I requested for the balcony room from the hotel, at first they said no balcony room is available, then they shoot me a mail saying they have a single room without balcony for which they shall be charging $25 and if balcony is required they shall be charging $35. The rates online were considerably cheap though. The room where I stayed for the first night was $15 room, for which they charged me $25. Anyways they shifted me to the balcony room next day at the same rate. Comes out the big balcony room was vacant. Anyhow the biggest disappointment was the lynching done by the tuk tuk driver, which was arranged by the Hotel. I was categorically told that tuk tuk driver shall be charging $15 for the entire day, mind you considerably high from the market rate, I agreed for it. Thereafter on completion of my two day tuk tuk tour i was handed a bill of $45 and on 2nd day the tuk tuk driver didnt spend the entire day. The driver was hired by the Hotel with the understanding of $15 for full day. Then on my departure another tuk tuk driver was arranged, whom I told to take me to old market for shopping, who infact misguided me and rather than taking me to old market just dropped me at the airport and lynched me of $10, where I had to wait for 5 hours to catch my flight. Hotel is like all smiles but no substantive and honest services, they do not stick to their word. They gave me room rates from $25 to $35, adjusted me in $15 room with dysfunctional AC and charged $25. Told me $15 per day for tuk tuk then hand me a Bill of $45 for 2 days and eventually reduce $5. There is nothing special about the Hotel, only and only Location being close to old market and Pub Street, that is it. The only good thing what I perceived is that the Hotel did promote underprivileged people and was giving them opportunity to work and gain experience (do not know if they were being paid) they were welcoming no doubt about that, hence 3 stars. As far as service is concerned "IT IS JUST ALL SMILES NO SUBSTANCE". Felt a bit cheated. STAFF was very welcoming though but Smiles do not mean you lynch your customers by not having proper policy and rent structure. Please guide your customers accordingly so that they have a proper and clearer idea of things. I mean a tuk tuk driver charging $25 dollars for 5 hours, that is ridiculous and charging $25 even for an inferior room having less rental, that is disappointing. HONESTY will be appreciated and does go a long way. Stay was comfortable but for mosquitoes, no mosquito repellents, which I think is required in their rooms being necessary.
