Would highly recommend if you are looking for something a little more quaint than regular motel/hotel rooms. The individual rooms and garden patio were perfect for our weekend getaway. We even had a daily visit from a deer. A real great place to stay.

Great place

Stayed for one night here because I liked their no fees for pets offer as well as the rate for a single bed room.  The host was very friendly and check in was fast.  For a motel, I was quite surprised how clean the room was and did not expect amenities like fridge, microwave, coffee maker and hair dryer.  Parking was right outside which was very convenient too.  The only thing I had a problem with was the heater which was quite loud.  Also no matter how I set it, the unit came on and automatically turned off and back on again at intervals.  This was actually more disruptive than a constant sound which I would have preferred even if it was louder than I would have liked.  As a result, it took me longer to fall asleep than usual.  But other than that, this was a decent place to stay for a quick night, especially with a pet.

Decent Stay For A Night

The workmen were taking longer to do the job we hired them for. We had gone without running water for a week. Ted accommodated our needs by renting us a room to fill up our water jugs and to enjoy a nice hot shower. Instead of going to the Y, we decided the Inn's parking space just out the door made the choice of this place very accessible. We enjoyed making some coffee in the room and watched a bit of television and ate our dinner there before heading back home. Thanks Ted!

Home Reno

As an older motel this place is perfectly priced for what it has to offer the value minded practical travellers. You can expect friendly service at check in. You can expect a clean room that gets maintained daily. The location is perfect. Once you park your vehicle you are walking distance from just about anything you would be looking for. The only thing I didn't really care for was the strong smell the plug in room deoderizer lets off ( I have COPD but I guess to be positive about it I didn't stink when I left the room ). Parking can be a challange if you drive a long pickup truck but talk to the owner and he'll accommodate you. The online booking site screwed up my instructions to the property but the owner corrected that immediately with no questions and offered an apology even though it was not his fault and to me that speaks of integrity better than a big chain motel I had a similar issue with ( that chose to be rude about it which is why I will never stay at their locations again ). Will definitely be recommending and will seek this place when in the Bracebridge area again.

Fantastic value and location

Good location very clean the staff was friendly close to downtown not largest room we have ever stayed in but the TV worked and we could have a shower also had a small fridge that was working when we arrived 



Ok for a night

Although it is conveniently located near downtown with a friendly manager, this motel is in need of an update. The rooms have dark carpet, dark bedspreads and curtains. The tiny bathroom needs repainting. The only place to sit outside is I front of your car on the walkway.

Small rooms, dated decor 

We needed a place to stay for the night that was affordable in the Muskokas in the summer!!!!!. It was tiny and old.  Needs a major overhaul.   It was clean.  Bathroom looks like it was recently brought up but the tiny room with the bed wasOK.there was free wifi.  Staff was friendly.  Right on Manitoba street downtown.

Old and dated but clean

located perfectly at the top of the main street in Bracebridge and just below many of the local restaurants, the Bracebridge Inn was perfect in that regard. But it was older, seems run down and loud when people were outside.

We'd stay again, because it was really perfect for the one night we stayed.

The windows didn't lock either, which was odd.

SIMPLE, OLD, BUT QUAINT

The best thing about this motel is the location. The room was not very clean, as I found nuts and even a sock just by the bedside. Lots of dust in the corners and hair on the sheets/pillows. Mattresses are old and saggy and the room had an odd smell.  Even the bathroom walls had hair and drip marks on them. There was a buildup of dust on the baseboards and mould and mildew on all the caulking. The back of the toilet seat (where it connects to the bowl) was so disgusting  as was the back of the taps at the sink. The carpet looked clean so maybe they have replaced it more recently. Tv/fridge/microwave all worked (didn’t try the coffee machine). 
We won’t ever be back. This place has potential so it’s sad the owners can’t bother to keep it clean. I don’t care if the decor is old but it should be clean and comfortable.

Not great, won’t be back.

This place is not good it needs a health inspection there were huge ants coming into the bathroom through the broken floor tiles & from the separations in the walls. The hotel floors were filthy and the owner was a real jerk. The room my colleagues had separate to the main hotel was much cleaner & without bugs.
