The front desk guy from INDIA has positive radiations, his smile and the way he treated was very friendly. Room was clean and it was peaceful staying in. It is a good place to go with a family, will visit again to talk to that Indian about his red 🔴mark on his forehead.

Our room was clean, new flooring, bath fixtures, beds comfortable, and staff friendly and accommodating.  Older building, in quiet area of town, .  Much better than bigger hotel down the street, with pool and bowling alley where staff absolutely rude, ignorant, with no concept of “customer service”.
I would absolutely stay at The Knights Inn again.

Great Place to Stay

Stayed here on Christmas . The breakfast was adequate , beds were fresh , rooms were clean . The front desk girl was really friendly and nice.  She helped us with directions and getting around in town and activities in the area.  Rooms were clean . Breakfast was served on time and stocked up from time to time . The prices were great . Really close to downtown still quite neighborhood. What else could you ask for ???  Nice little operation they got going on there.  Keep it up 👍👍 . .  

Friendly service , great price , clean and quaint . 

For the price, this is an ok stay. It's old and showing it's age. However, the new owners are renovating. The bathroom in my room had all new fixtures. They've put laminate flooring in the rooms instead of carpet which I find much cleaner. The sheets were nice. The bed is hard but not terrible. Another reviewer said it's far from downtown but it's very close - a two minute drive. They need to replace curtains in the room, the torn vinyl chair, etc. A coffee maker would be great but they do have a fridge and microwave.  For what I paid for the night, it's actually better than I expected - clean and quiet. Not luxury but that's reflected in the price.  They advertise themselves as a budget hotel and it is that - but a clean and comfortable one, not a dive.  No there aren't any amenities.  If you want that it'll cost you at least triple in this area.  It's an inexpensive stay in the heart of Muskoka at a reasonable price for what they offer.  If I paid double what I did pay, this review would be very different.

Good budget hotel

This is a no-frills 3-star accommodation. It's very affordable, and considering the location, really good value. Don't go in expecting a modern, downtown hotel. It's great for what you need, which is a clean accommodation convenient to all the things you want to do in Muskoka, with free parking on site. The service was very friendly and helpful. The decor and furnishings are definitely dated and worn, but perfectly fine and clean. The room was spacious and the microwave is very useful. One thing I would suggest is adding electric kettles to the room, or perhaps a simple coffee maker.

Great value

Check-in was very simple and efficient. The room was very clean and well appointed. And having a convenient place to park my truck and boat and be able to plug in my electronics was a plus. I will be returning when I have to come back to Bracebridge.

Much more than satisfied

I could tell that they were making renovations (people painting hallways, large equipment in common areas).  Room was equipped with flat screen TV, microwave, and fridge.  Beds were comfortable. 
 Location was a short 10 minute drive to Santa's Village, and an even shorter drive to the main street with local restaurants and stores.  
All staff were very friendly, however, when we tried to check in at 3pm (hotel's stated check in time), the office door was locked and no one would answer the intercom.  We finally gave up waiting and came back an hour later to check in.  No complimentary breakfast was available at this time due to COVID-19 restrictions.  Although there was an issue with check-in, I wouldn't mind staying here again in the future.

Good value for money

We stayed just one night as a stop over on the way further north.  Staff were very friendly and nice to deal with. The room appeared clean and was comfortable but was definitely showing its age. We visited during COVID so no breakfast. 

Just Okay 

The first room we got looked like it was a storage closet at one time. The door itself looked like it had been pried open at one time and we did not feel safe in the room. There was no where to hang anything so we laid everything on the tables and chairs. The heater ran all night trying to keep the room up to a good temperature. They did change the room the next day and the second room was a a lot better. The bed in the second room was not as comfortable as the first room. For the price we paid we expected a lot more than what we got. After looking at the breakfast being offered we decided on eating out.

Not up to snuff

We had planned my parents' internment for the Civic holiday weekend. I booked well in advance for 2 nights. Somehow, the reservation dates were screwed up.

I received a call from the motel Thursday night informing me I was late. We finally straightened that out. NOT 1 THING WAS SAID ABOUT THE ROOM NOT BEING AVAILABLE FOR 2 NIGHTS!
 I arrived - a day late according to them, and didn't quibble about paying for an extra night because of the mix up. That was Friday, Aug 2. NOT 1 THING WAS SAID TO ME ABOUT THE ROOM NOT BEING AVAILABLE SATURDAY NIGHT.
Saturday morning, we returned around noon after the funeral and reception - to be told we HAD to leave! 

Imagine! You've just buried your parents' cremains, and are looking for an hour or so of peace and quiet, only to have to throw everything together and leave! 

NOTHING is available in Muskoka on a long weekend!
The only alternative was to drive back home to Ottawa - a 5 hour drive.

I am not impressed.
