Was very impressed with the motel/inn. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. Stayed in the Queen suite that featured a kitchenette, sitting area, dining area and separate bedroom. Situated in a quiet area (for September) and near the beach, Cavendish and an easy commute to Charlottetown. There is a nice porch/patio in front of the building that has tables and chairs and bbq's. Also Adirondacks to relax in while watching the sun go down. Windows open, air conditioner and wifi work and contains everything that you need including a  fridge, stove, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, kettle and a few dishes. We brought our own large pot so we could steam and enjoy the fantastic lobster, mussels and clams. Seafood lovers paradise. We went right to PE aquaculture plant to buy our goodies. Owners are approachable and pleasant. Enjoyed our short stay and will tell our friends about it. Will be going back next year! (and maybe enjoying the drive in as well!)

Comfortable and Roomy

Room #6 
Was extremely quiet and had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. Jetted tub, very hot water, comfy queen size bed with loads of pillows. Darkening blinds to sleep in. Coffee TV mini fridge and microwave. The pull out sofa is new but a typically uncomfortable pull out. We asked for extra blankets to sleep on and we got 2. 
The cleaners are hard hard workers and I would be hard pressed to find a speck of dirt anywhere. 
There was a slight musty smell to the room but we believe it was because of the washer and dryer that is close (but not audible) to the room. 
Amble parking, and yard for kids to play in.  
We can't wait to come back! 

Awesome vacation 

Staff was efficient, friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had all the equipment required to prepare meals etc. (if you so desired ) Location was very good only 5 minutes to the beach and less then a 30 minutes to Charlottetown.

Fun in PEI

Brackley Country Inn is in a very isolated area. Three are a few restaurants around if you are not picky. Deckers had good coffee and was fine for breakfast, but didn't suit us for supper. The beach is a few minutes away and you are supposed to pay. We didn't see anyone so I don't know the price. The inn itself doesn't do breakfast. There was no hot water for part of our stay which inconvenienced us as we have 3 kids and were on PEI for a wedding. The cancellation policy was a week which was not convenient as I tried to cancel 5 days prior to be closer to our destination. The ad informed us of a pull out sofa. It was a small hard futon that no one would sleep on even though it meant not sharing a bed. The only reason for 3 stars is that the employees were helpful and helped us with a few requests. No pool. No one available at checkout.

Better options nearby

The place was nice and new looking not sure if it was freshly renovated. Fair size kitchenette / living room. The bedroom wasn't the biggest but it was no way crowded. There was no check in as the season was over. Our names were posted on the door of our room. It would of been nice if it was closer to the beach. The owner came out a while after we got there to say hello but that was the only contact. The price was very good.

New Looking

If you like dirt, dead bugs, mold, old gum and someone else’s hair elastics oh ... and dead flies in the carpet, Room #5 is the place is for you!  
As you walk into the room you are welcomed with a lovey mildew odour. There is no fan in the bathroom which is adding to the soft and squishy bathroom floor. 

This is our 4th trip to the inn but it will be our last. 
The cleaners don’t clean, they do give you new towels.  Nice touch during Covid. 
Please stay away!!!!



If you like ...

Wish I could tell you we had a wonderful time at Brackley Country Inn for my husband's 50th high school reunion but I just got a call from the owner telling me 
"The client who has the room before you has decided to extend his stay so....you have been bumped and will have to find other accommodations...so sorry". What kind of hotel/Inn does this to their clientele !!!
