Near down town of Ottawa and able to walk over ,hot water for shower took forever and cant adjust room was clean just strong smell of paint biggest surprise was when we got home and see on line that hotel made extra charges  for 136.85 ??? Call hotel just French to leave message Call VISA and they fix it for us even we paid extra to have breakfast have been told it s not available and no credits are given to us , told us to talk to Expedia Would not recommend it to anyone for the reason of extra charge and false advertisement If I did not check on time wonder how difficult would be

Watch your bill

Stayed at this little gem during the Ottawa winter carnival in Feb 2018.  Very spacious apartment with all the amenities you would need.  Compared to what you would pay for just over the bridge in Ottawa this is surely the best option if your looking to save on lodging.
I flew in to Ottawa so I did not have a vehicle.  This was the only drawback because all the restaurants and any other shopping is quite far on foot.  Otherwise , no complaints.  Would surely stay again.

Quiet and Quaint

We stayed at the Duvernay Studios for a night and my in laws were traveling with us. The first turn off for us was the fact that you have to go to another hotel on the next street in order to check in. There is neither any reception desk at Duvernay Studios nor a dining room. So, it was extremely inconvenient for us to ask our in laws to walk to the next street in order to check in and get breakfast. We also wanted to extend our check out time and called the front desk at the other hotel (which is apparently serves as the front desk for Duvernay), no one picked up, which meant that we had to go out again and walk to the other building to speak to someone at the front desk. It is really inconvenient to have to go to another building for check in, breakfast, and any other assistance to require. The location is a 5-7 drive from downtown Ottawa which is great. The only reason I am giving them 3 stars instead of 1 is because their rooms were really spacious and the location was great.

Great Location but poor amenities

We arrived at 9 pm that night for check in. The parking area is a raised area behind the hotel up a ramp and then there was a key to get in the 1 st level floor. Pick up for key and check in was at a different location. When we finally found the parking lot which was confusing, we discovered that it was a green P parking lot even though it hooked up,to the hotel. You needed to put in money for each 5 hour chunk and the lady at the reception where we picked up the key mentioned that we should buy three 5 hour time slots and thatbwas $8.00 each! So we ended up paying $24.00 for parking and then another $92.00 for the room.that was a far cry from the initial promo offer online for $79.00 for the room. Plus tax I suppose. Will never go there again simply because of the parking fee. No phone in room ... What if someone had an accident! Scary!

Stay for one night

As written in other reviews, this hotel has no reception and it is very inconvenient. The rooms are small suites and are fairly spacious. The rooms have been renovated with vinyl -planking and are clean enough, but the hallway carpets are dirty and off-putting. Room numbers are missing on the doors so we guessed and scared another guest by trying the wrong door. Worst of all are the ridiculous, french only, instructions to turn on the TV. We couldn't make them work and calling the desk at the Victoria Suites hotel was not helpful. I made the mistake of booking an uncancellable booking so had to stay. Watch carefully what you are booking.

Can't recommend

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.

If I could have allowed to give 0 point for this hotel, I would definitely do that. My window was faced the bar or night club that nonstop music and crazy loud that we couldn’t get to sleep the entire night. Called the front desk, you could only leave a message that never have a person get you back. Not like they said 24 hr service. NO one can get rest in this noisy place. The charges were crazy high with property fee.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

Horrible hotel.. where to start.. it doesn't even have a reception. To do anything, you need to walk 2 blocks to a hotel whose owner apparently owns this one. Hotel windows are either looking at bar area, or the busy road - you can't sleep at night. Both locations have bright light pointing to windows of the hotel, and curtains are so poor quality that they let the light through. Be prepared that you won't be able to fall asleep at night. They also advertise queen sized bed, but in reality - it is barely double. Reception in the other hotel (Hotel Victoria) is arrogant - they were giving me attitude saying how can the hotel have listed Queen sized beds if they only have double. Sound insulation doesn't exist in this hotel either.
