Wonderful place to visit!
We adored this hotel and are already planning a trip back. Rooms are spacious and clean. Good size closet and bathroom. Really nice to have a balcony to enjoy the view and sit outside with coffee in the morning. The views are incredible and the hotel is quiet. It's just a very peaceful location. Ver

Quebec at its best-comfy and east-coast relaxed
My husband and I took a short, impromptu trip out to Malbaie. Off season means you have no worries about reservations or crowds. The prices are also amazing. The Richelieu Fairmont was $226 per night and looked gorgeous but we wanted something closer to the little town and restaurants. We found the

Spectacular views and a gastronomic feast
Where to start.....Ania and I were travelling back from the far flung regions of Quebec's North Shore. We were tired and it was getting late. The weather was frigid and all we wanted was a hotel to stay in that had a resto. While I drove, Ania searched and came upon the Auberge des 3 Canards. OH

Great views in a simple Inn. Nice difference vs Manoir Richelieu
This is a medium sized Inn/Auberge, with a nice dining room, and some outdoor activities (pool, shuffleboard, etc). It also has great views towards the river. The location is okay, but everything is a drive since the auberge is on a steep hill and not near other restaurants to stores. Our breakfa

Magical La Malbaie and Charlevoix; unique property
I took a group here, recently, and thoroughly enjoyed visiting this spot. To start, this location is spectacular, and the view from my balcony was incredible. All rooms face the water, and well they should!!! It is located close to town, the Charlevoix Casino, Fairmont Richelieu, and anything you mi

Well-executed and Adorably French
I dined at Les Trois Canards with my husband and his parents. It was a quaint space, very comfortable and old-fashioned.
The service was attentive and stereotypically French. It was quite pleasant.
You have access to a bread bar where you toast your own bread in the fireplace. Just like in the old

Stay for the view and a rest.
This is an auberge of a certain era: read on the balcony while looking at the water; play croquet outside; have a drink on the terrace. It isn't in town so you'll have to drive anywhere else and, to be honest, La Malbaie was a bit of a let down compared to Baie St Paul just down the road (I'd st

Poor experience with the restaurant for Breakfast at the Auberge
We recently passed through the Malbae region in Charlevoix and on our first day we arrived early and were looking for a place to have breakfast as we had left very early in the morning from Ontario. I had always wanted to stay/visit the Auberge des 3 Canards for over twenty years. I was very excite

Disappointing
We have been loyal customers of this place for many years. It’s been our favorite getaway place in summers, but after this last visit, I’m sad to say this but we won’t be coming back here. The rules in this place are very strange and absolutely not customer-focused. We came here just for 2 days. The
