We stayed at the gîte for just one night. The room was small but fine for this short time. We were welcomed by the couple running the place (as well as by their gentle dog) and equipped with lots of information for our stay. We had dinner in the next town at the place they recommended (nothing special, but maybe we had the wrong food selected) and ended our day by enjoying their sauna. You read right: they really have a SAUNA! It's rather small, maybe for one person to lie down or for max. 3 people to sit, but... hey, it's a sauna and it was for free! This really made our day - after hours of driving it made us feel comfortable again! Maybe afterwards we could have used their pool outside - we just forgot to try it :) They also have a summer kitchen outside and some places to sit - but the time was way too short!
The beds were fine (I think this is a very subjective thing anyway), but we wanted some fresh air and left the window open - if you want to do so too please make sure to bring some good earplugs as the gîte is close to a big street and the noise could get really annoying (maybe because we weren't used to the sound of huge Canadian trucks, who knows...). But with our earplugs it was fine. 
 We started the next day with a very good breakfast: they served foods from local producers and even their own honey and jam. So yummy!! Afterwards we rented their bikes (20$/day) to do a tour in the "Parc National de la Pointe-Taillon" which entry is just 4km away from the gîte. We did the whole tour, it's around 45km of lovely landscape and really recommandable!!
