The environment of the place is nice because there are a lot of foreigners staying in the hostel, the food at the restaurant is good and tasty, they offer western food. And the location of the place is in a good area you can find many options around and is easy to move from there.
I pay for a private room but it was not worth it, this place is only worth it if you share the dormitories, it´s cheap but for the private room is not a good option, the place is a little bit hard to find and the staff sometimes says bad things about the foreigners in Chinese but that thing you can just ignore。

Good environment for foreigners

The rooms are simple but clean. The bathroom is far from nice but it's ok for a few days.
The hotel is in a good location close to the subway in the Hutong.
The staff are helpful, and a few of them speak decent English. 
There is a very nice and stylish bar in the hotel. It's a nice place to have a beer and chill a bit after a long day. 😊
Finding this place is not that hard, if you tag it in Google Maps before and have the address in Chinese characters just in case. 

It's ok.

I must caveat this review by saying that we didn't actually stay here. My partner and I had a booking at another hostel in beijing (Alley Youth Hostel) which, when we arrived, said our room had been flooded by the rain that occurred earlier that day. Alley Youth Hostel said they have a room available at another hostel (this) and they had a member of staff accompany us to Home Youth Hostel.

When we arrived we were immediately asked to pay the outstanding balance on our booking we'd made with Alley Youth Hostel despite Home Youth Hostel being of lower regarded review quality. The room was, in all fairness a dump so we decided not to stay for our 7 days that we'd booked. Instead we sat on their WiFi and researched another place to stay.

This review gets two stars, instead of one, as the staff did call the hotel we eventually stayed at and wrote down the Chinese characters of the address for a taxi driver.

Possible bait and switch

One of my least favorite accommodations ever. The entire facility is very dirty and rundown, no amenities other than the basic soap and toothbrush packets that are standard in Asia. The television didn't work, the towels are horrible and the Wi-Fi is mostly spotty. I would have seen past all of these deficiencies if I had not paid  $37.50 USD per night via Booking.com. Today's price happens to be $22.00 USD which is still to high. There are plenty of other places to stay in the neighborhood, I will stay someplace else when I return to Beijing.

I wouldn't recommend staying here

We stayed in a double room for 4 nights. The location is convenient. The entire complex looks very old and is dirty. There's holes in the walls, the toilet does work but ofcourse you can't flush anything so you have to put all of the dirty paper in the bin and hope the cleaning ladies will come to replace it (which they don't always do). The showerhead is fixed but can only stand in one certain position, which wettes the entire bathroom, makes it very slippery and dangerous and apparently makes it a wonderful environment for cockroaches. They're crawling around in the bathroom and I can only hope they're not in the room or our stuff. Lastly, the wifi sucks. It just doesn't connect, and if it does, it's for 5 minutes max at a incredibly low speed. The bar looks nice but the staff members are always eating or watching videos, not very eager to help, and they don't speak English, which is China-like ofcourse. When I asked for the nearest post-office at the reception they didn't understand me in English, so I tried it in Chinese and they told me to just look it up on my phone. With what wifi connection? 
Worst of all, I paid quite a lot to stay here.
