We booked this through a 3rd party.  It is just okay, but in a good location.  We stayed about 5 nights.  Beds do not have a mattress, only a box spring.  They are very, very hard.
It was okay clean, not exceptional, not dirty.  Check in was hectic as no one really spoke english well.  Not their fault, but they should not say that they have an english speaking staff if they only can greet you, but not help you or answer any questions.  At check in, they didn't want to take my credit card, finally after many back and forth, they took it.  Then they wanted a $200 yuan deposit.  Also okay, but it should be stated before check in that this is required.  The hotel was safe and mostly quiet.  They provide basic shampoo/soap.  But anything else is for sale.  The beds are not made daily, only towels are replaced, no room cleaning that I could see.  I was disappointed for the fee that was charged, I think I could have gotten a much better place, but picked this because of the english speaking staff, thinking I would need help while there with a few questions.  Wifi was okay.  Would I stay again?  Not sure, but it was okay for a short stay

Good location

The location is really good for shopping and metro. The hotel is alright. The beds were a bit hard, the plumbing wasn't amazing, but the staff were friendly even if not the most service-minded people I've ever met. The internet was average, but unstable. Overall good if shopping is one of the main goals.

Average hotel

Hotel was booked by C Trip after having stayed at the Days Inn for a week (checked out of Days Inn as internet was terrible and the staff were rude). Staff at Xin Tian Di were helpful, spoke a little English and the amenities were better. Close to Wangfujing station.

Rooms are basic but comfortable. No refrigerator in rooms which was needed as I was on business for two weeks in Beijing. Cleaning service pounded on the room door at 8am - not great when you finish work at 10pm and have to be out the door by 8,30am the next day.

Basic hotel, decent staff, great location. Would not choose to stay there again.

Reasonable enough

We stayed in this hotel in January, 2012 for 3 days. The location is absolutely fine, just 200-300 meters from the railway station and 50 m from the famous Wangfujin street. When we booked a standard room, it was mentioned that there would be no window in the room. When we were checking in, we were told there was a window, but no bathroom in the room. A bit frustrating, but it was worth its price. And what we didn't like at all is room service at 8 a.m., and the girl was very persistent knocking on the door and finally opening it with her own key. 
A good place to stay if you're going to spend your time walking around and not sitting in the room.

If you need a place to leave your bags

I stayed in this hotel for one week in Mar2010. The hotel location is good, within 5-min walk to Wangfujing Street and the subway. However I must say that the hotel itself is extremely disappointing. The staff do not know English and I have to resort to communicating with them with my limited Mandarin knowledge. The staff are not friendly and there were couple of times my phone calls to the front desk were not picked up at all (called at 11pm++ and 5am++)! On my second day there, I found an additional dirty hand towel neatly folded on the vanity top. The towel was so badly stained that I just left it as it was for the remaining of my stay, the towel has never been removed by the cleaner. On the day when I checked out, the staff accused me of contaminating the towel and wanted compensation to be deducted from the 200Yuan deposit! They even showed me the log book that the cleaner filled up to prove that the towel was indeed contaminated by me and that she’s left it there in the room. I had to spend 20min defending myself and when I finally asked to speak to their manager, they couldn’t contact her at that time (6am). They finally spoke to someone on the phone and returned my 200Yuan deposit, without a single word, or Sorry from them. Overall I’m extremely not happy with the way the hotel accused its customers without properly questioning their own cleaners if they’ve made a mistake in the log book. 
So, if you're planning to stay i this hotel for its location and low price, be on the alert and immediately report to front desk if you find something unsual in the room. I wonder how many times they've used the same tactic on their customers too.
