I stayed at this hotel it was a fantastic experience, the room was extremely clean & very spacious for me. It was a 4 star but actually it felt i was in a 5 star hotel.

Fantastic Hotel

The hotel is  inside  the  CBD and within short walking distance to major shopping complexes such as Isetan,  New World Departement Store, Walmart and the underground shopping mall.  It is very well located and accesssible to all amenities. . The breakfast is typically chinese with porridge and a variety of savoury dishes catered mainly to their chinese guests .  However, it is definitely a budget hotel so its worth it if you can get a good rate

Good value and location if you are on a budget

Great value...large clean rooms with full king size beds (well thats what I always request), fridge/freezer/microwave and hob if you want them. Only Chinese TV programs. Irish bar across the road with Starbucks (and three more  within 10 minutes walking distance) and free wireless internet just round the corner. Hotel only about two years old. Recommended.

Upon checking in I asked for a simple help, :where is the nearest ATM machine"?> this is my question. None of the 3 girls working in the front desk can talk . Then I have to get a translator, to solve my problem, The room is fairly big, with a age old T.V. and the none english channels either BBc or CNN is not available. . There is a sofa looks a bit old. Kettle was supplied with no tea making facilities, Stove is also supplied  and I think it is for those interested in cooking. .
In the bathroom there is a crack and the  door has to changed a and this proves that this hotel is as old as the chinese revolution. The towels need to to be changed immediately.   For breakfast bread is supplied without any butter  and butter knife. Only jam .was supplied, it just a colouring and nothing in the jam.  I have to face huge number of prioblems and everything in this hotel caters only for a single community. No wonder I could not see any European back packers staying in this hotel.  The very next day, check out and go to Hoiliday Inn which is just infront. 
One thing for sure that this hotel is linked to Crowne Plaza hotel  which is also just nearby.
