I visited zhuhai recently.i have been to many parts of the world but cannot find another hotel as bad as this one. On checking in I was given the breakfast and when into my room. At that time the weather was very cold especially at night.. I tried adjusting the aircon and found there is a problem . I asked house keeping for assistance and was told there were only two options ie turn off the aircon or open the window. I have no choice but to turn off the aircon. The next day I went to the restaurant for breakfast and discovered that there was no one in the restaurant. On further enquiry I was told tha the restaurant was closed for the day. The restaurant was on the second floor. I decided to take the lift to the lobby to find out what had happened. To my great disappointment, the lift button was spoiled such that the lift do not stop at level two.I went back to the restaurant and asked the waiter what happened to the lift. The answer I got was " I do not know". Felling very frustrated I asked the how to I get to the lobby. Only the the waiter told me there there was a staircase at the corner of the restaurant . I took the stairs and went to the lobby. I asked the duty front staff how was it that the restaurant was closed and that I was not told when I checked in the day before. The answer I got was "I do not know". My next question to the staff was did it meant that the restaurant closes as and when they feel like it without inform any one. She kept quiet. Later she gave me a Macdonald voucher as compensation for the breakfast, I am no friend of Macdonald but there was nothing else available. The Macdonald outlet was about two hundred meters away. This mean I have to walk 400 meters. In the evening I went back to the hotel to rest, I have to go to the checking counter to get my breakfast voucher, the hotel had a funny way of issuing the vouchers. You need to collect the voucher daily. Why? I do not know. So on third morning I went to the restaurant for breakfast only to discover that the restaurant was deserted . I looked inside and found covered trays. I opened the covered and discovered the most disappointed breakfast. There were steamed sweet potatoes, instant noodles fried, some veggie, porridge that looked more like water. That was all. All the food were so cold as if it had just been taken out from the fridge. I called the banquet manager and asked what he could do to make the breakfast more palatable . All he did was to light up the burner to heat up the food. There was no coffee or tea or even bread and butter. This was my experience with this hotel. I wonder how this hotel survive when the only sentence that was used for all enquiry was " I do not know"
